#9 Myers Park vs #24 Charlotte Catholic

Glad to see these two teams playing. Natural rivals as they are almost "walking distance" apart. They had a home and home series for 4 years going back about 20 years ago. Catholic won all 4 games and Myers Park dropped them from the schedule. Hard to gauge this one. Both teams have played some soft competition this year. Catholic played well for a half against Independence until the wheels came off in the second half and lost a close one to very good Butler squad. Myers Park just squeaked by a down South Meck team the last game of the season. They could very easily have lost but this is a rivalry game where crazy things sometimes happen. Both teams can score and both teams have had moments of excellence and inconsistency throughout the season. Rate it a toss-up dependent on which team shows up for both sides, making this game a betting nightmare.

Like jojr said, it's a rivalry game between the fan bases and there should be a huge crowd. Definitely going to be one of the best first round games out there.
How did myers park just barely get by Southmeck does Myers Park have injuries or something?
Myers Park and South Meck are long time neighborhood rivals. Throw the records out when they play. South had their season on the line and played very well.
Think Reilly needs to let Garcia do most of the play calling for CC to be successful in the playoffs.
