Starmount might put up more of a fight this go around. Seems they lost all hope after the first matchup. I say ES by 4 scores at least.

their (ES) size in the secondary is an advantage for them; 6’1 corners are rare especially in 1A; plus getting to #7 hasn’t happened; good luck though

ES is a great football team with great size and athleticism. Offensive line with good size and exceptional speed. Starmount can't match anywhere. Won't be close.

To steal BKs quote on another thread they probably want to save their field for the next 3 games.

East.feild has a grub worm problem. It's real bad no lie true!
Sooooo! East has more than 600k spent at their FB field and they have a grub worm problem...???? So the county spends +600k at fb field and purchases +1 million on joining property around the school and they have a grub worm problem???? Yehp! I can completely understand...….

Release 5 hundred moles on that field. They live off grub worms but then they will have a bigger problem.

Hey, what do you know- Heartpump has come back to chime in on ES related posts. How much money do you think the county school system gives to the schools for their regular athletic budgets? (the answer is 0). Any money spent on the field comes directly from the school and their own funds. The 2 issues aren’t related. The visitor’s side was in serious disrepair and was in danger of collapsing. To avoid someone getting hurt (and potential lawsuits) the school system went to the county commissioners asking for money to fix the problem and they stepped in to help. Regardless of the playing condition of the field, the bleacher issue was serious and in need of fixing for years.

Es will get exposed so called offers will disappear. QB having 6 secs to throw WR with free releases every play. Y’all are fooling yourself if Mack Brown will honor dudes highlights. Basically running routes on air, what camps have this great core of WR dominated. I’ll wait, none this is nothing less than a Cartoon Network production. Chin check coming soon.

So your saying the reason the visitors side bleachers were replaced is because of safety issues?????????? Disrepair???? Lawsuits ?????? The only way those old bleachers collapse was if a bomb fell on them. 600+ k ???????? Oldest tongue trick in the world......"If you don't fix it someone will get hurt" BTW East Surry 0 Grub worms 1

ES QB Boaz will be the Starter in the Shrine Bowl. And those away bleachers are nice.

Those old bleachers were solid concrete on the side of a hill, probably poured when the field was first built many years ago.

Idk about them collapsing but they definitely looked terrible and needed renovation that was done by the county. The field however was donated by cardinal faithful along with the sprinkler system.

Those concrete bleacher were cool bc u could bring your own chair. They were in good shape. TD u probably haven't sit in those bleachers in 29 years. I will say the new bleachers are real nice though.
