They hate me for the same reason.

There are too many negative people in the world.
You mean like when you came at everyone thinking women's soccer was going to have issues scoring this year and told us we were clueless?

That wasn't being negative, that was people making an observation based on what they've seen over the last year of play. But you quickly went dark on the RT after that because unfortunately they haven't been able to score much.

Rutgers fans will complain about not having the fan support that other schools have and then those same people will come at me any chance they get.

It's truly a badge of honor to have haters.

Except that’s all in your head, discussing legitimate issues isn’t being a hater except in your universe.

I can assure you I have actual haters. Every time I post is a dog whistle for them to come out. It's kinda weird, but absolutely a badge of honor.

I think this is a silly thread, and I regret starting it. The reasons I casually posted it on Sunday are:

1) I like Rutgers Al a lot, and think every fan base should have an Al
2) He had predicted the results of this game accurately, while I thought privately that if your team won, it would be a close, ugly game (I was completely wrong, and happy to be)
3) I'd just returned from the beach, where I ran two miles, spent a significant amount of time in the ocean, and consumed two twelve-ounce cans of Pina-colada (13% alcohol).
4) I was simply happy for your team and their devoted fans, and felt remorseful for my private prediction.

Although I think Al is great and I don't share the negative opinions of him that I have seen in this thread, I am not an Al sycophant. In many of his threads I have politely disagreed with many points. I don't think he minds that, and I think he knows that I dig him.

This thread makes me think that as a Terrapin fan, it's too unnatural for me to be here. I do have a Rutgers family connection, and I've lived in Jersey for a long time, but sometimes I forget my place.

I will probably downgrade to lurking status for a while...

Your an asset to this board, unlike the malcontents that muddied up this thread.

FWIW, I think your OP came off as well-intended (if not a little silly to commend Al for predicting what 95% of us also expected - RU to beat NW).

It's lacrosse offseason. Look forward to reading your posts on the lax board next February.

Don't let the haters get to you.
As for regretting starting this thread, regret it if there wasn't a response,
but look at the number of responses in this thread and know you brought up a popular issue wit haters on one side , defenders on the other with a good number just enjoying the action your thread started.
As a Terrapin fan you bring an outside perspective on this board, don't stop because your opinion is respected by many because you respect Rutgers and TKR board when you post here

If we had 1000 RutgersAls, we would have enough NIL money to secure Dylan's commitment by now.
Instead we have 1000 “die hards” shitting on NIL daily who do not participate. Same group will complain when we don’t get the players. They also complain about the price of water or cry about not being able to bring water.

I didn't give to NIL but I think its good for the players. I upped my commitment to RFund instead.

There are plenty of people that donate to neither which is a bigger problem.

Got to give credit to Al. It seems that he was right all along, and your team is on the way back to prominence.

Wow we have ru AL' relative Because I sense of delusional Answer, and this is right on, was not disappointed lol

Okay, so we have to rationally talk about what happened and for me.
I mean, you played a team that lost the best coach They probably ever had.

Now the defense for you guys played well. Really Well, and that always seems to be shiano's calling card. But the box score says there is an 85 yd. Difference, and that just doesn't sound like a dominant win?? But it is a win regardless, and you got gotta get them when you can. With some very good, big 10 teams coming up.
This is not good option for a barometer game, other words, when when?
Manifesting, manifesting Rutgers, hypothetical greatness

At the same time, they are doing what they're supposed to do. They are improving. I mean, that is evident.

I could drop dead tomorrow and would be more liked on opposing teams websites for the next 10 years than every other Rutgers fan, possibly combined.

They’ve invited me to their tailgates, put me on their radio shows, and asked me to write game previews. A small minority might mock but so what. The vast majority appreciate my contribution, and that goes for Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan. Don’t really bother with the others.

You should be embarrassed by your own insecurity which causes you to attack others. You’re the biggest douchebag on this board so it’s quite rich of you to accuse others of being the same. Only your boyfriend Madchuck appreciates your posts.
The opposing teams fans that ask you to write game previews and be on the radio are saving your content to make fun of you after Rutgers loses.

I’ve never received anything but respect and admiration. Will there be some who mock? Always. But the North Carolina Fans put me in their hall of fame of opposing fans at one point and I got a kick out of that. Most of the opposing fans get it. You and some in this thread don’t.

My favorite was WV 2006, and if my memory serves me correctly I met you for a WV 2006 tailgate, so Shame on you for trying to disparage me when I’ve been so nice to you. It’s good to see you back, now that we’re winning.
