Perfect. Exactly what we needed. As far as I'm concerned we can close the book on this portal season. Glad to be done with it actually.

I think this team is going to shoot the 3 ball great. We don't have a Brea type but our shooters will benefit from having a lot of capable shooters on the floor. By the end of the season, due to injuries, all you had to do was shut down Brea and our 3 pt attack would suffer.
I’d imagine developmental pieces and/or return of Oweh but I don’t know. I’m definitely not thinking more rotation pieces personally.
Wow! Lowe, Aberdeen, Oweh, MD, and Quaintance has the potential to be a GREAT defense!

I don't know what "developmental pieces" means in 2025. If you get someone else who is capable of getting minutes at all you very much run the risk of running someone else off. And if they aren't capable of getting minutes (outside of blowout situations) you're asking the kid to hang around not only this year but next year as well - which I don't think is a reasonable expectation in the portal era.
We already have 10 rotation kids and 3 others (Moreno, Perry, Noah) who will be fighting for time. No room at the inn for others......

Hopefully this off-season puts to bed the talk of Pope not being able to recruit and UK being so far behind in NIL.
He could start here as a PG I guess. He has good handles and takes care of the ball. Not a great shooter but he is good enough that defenses can't just sag off of him to clog the lane. Free throws are pretty much terrible.
He had a rough tourney stats wise, but he brings size, experience, and physical toughness to the team. Will be interesting to see how Pope phases him in.

But one of our walk-on leaves, so could be one guy will come here (but will not play a lot)

yes, where are those brave souls complaining because either we were poor or had money and stupidly refused to spend it? Someday someone should do an expost analysis of portal season - not only what actually happened, but the caterwauling that also occurred in real time.....
