A nonsensical statement. So you think it would be better to be in danger of being poached Rather than being stable? But then In your next post you claim the BIG 12 is in danger of being poached. Which is it exactly? Can’t be both. Obviously you are just pushing out a negative no matter what. Everything you say as usual is total anti BIg 12 shill ********.
Conferences that are in danger of being poached have more valuable assets. The Big 12 has none at this point in time. Maybe you should read my post again I stated that if the big 12 is raided again it will become a conference made up of majority G5 schools. That isn't the same as saying its in danger of being poached. The reason its stable is because the Pac and Acc have teams that are deemed more valuable to the poachers then what the Big 12 has. Not exactly a good reason.

Lol, but you just claimed the BIg 12 isn’t valuable BECAUSE according to you it’s likely to be poached!?! You can’t even keep your ******** shill trolling straight. It can’t be both valuable because it has schools waiting to be poached and not valuable because no one wants to poach it idiot.

The BIG 12 is highly valuable and can become even more valuable should certain PAC programs wake up and see that their conference is dead and far less valuable.

When did I say its likely to be poached? Do you have reading comprehension problem? Let me explain it to you this way. If your conference is one raid away from being a majority G5 conference it just shows how watered down your product has become. The tv suits aren't paying big money for the new big 12.

How can the BIG 12 be “ one raid away” from anything if there are no schools in it that anyone wants fool? It cannot be both.

The BIG 12 is a valuable conference now and will be going forward whether your bosses want anyone to think so or not.

The big 12 has little value. The networks declined to negotiate with them last year. Not going to keep answering you on the raid question. I am not going to keep explaining it to a dumbass

The networks declined to negotiate with the BIG 12 early a year or two ago, because they had inside knowledge of their intent to move Texas and OU to the SEC and it would have required a GOR which they KNEW neither OU or UT would be signing.

That has nothing whatsoever to do with the value the future conference will be able to bring in via its next rights deal.

Why do people think West Virginia chose the Big 12 over the ACC a decade ago? This never made sense, the ACC chose Louisville over West Virginia. I imagine West Virginia would have jumped into the ACC had there been that option. Now West Virginia fans believe the ACC is gonna save itself by adding Notre Dame and West Virginia as a pair?

Texas and Oklahoma are two giants. USC is a football powerhouse. Pairing them with UCLA gives the B1G a stranglehold in L.A. What does West Virginia add to the ACC that would convince Clemson, FSU, Miami and North Carolina that the ACC is on par with what the SEC, and B1G are doing?
Louisville and ACC talks came after WVU went to the Big 12. ACC was afraid Louisville would be next in line for the Big 12 to take. ACC wanted to block that off. Louisville is the one that sought ACC by applying Nov. 28, 2012 and ACC accepted. They officially became members in 2015

WVU sought the Big 12 October 25, 2011 then was officially selected October 28, 2011. WVU then sued Big East to exit and begin play in 2012.

The ACC never wanted WVU, even for a moment.
Exactly correct. But their shills have created lots of instability at WVU on social media and message boards pretending they do want WVU and fooling WVU fans into hating their own conference, accepting mediocrity and pining for the ACC even though there has never been a chance WVU is getting an invite there.

I never liked the ACC, still don’t, and probably never will.
Big 12 was ok (didn’t like the TCU addition) but now it is bad with the G5 additions particularly the BYU inclusion.
College football is heading to P2 and WVU needs to position itself and work to get into the SEC to remain significant in the eyes of this country and the major college football world In addition to monetary survival.

I don’t see just the Big 10 and SEC. I think it will require 3 super conferences. The Big12 needs to be the 3rd for WVU to survive in major college football. The SEC does not want WVU.

The ONLY option WVU has is to work hard with the BIG 12 to put the conference into the perceived #3 position of major conferences and to retain spots for the BIG 12 in an expanded playoff. There is NO ACC option, NO SEC option and NO B10 option.

The football side of things for WVU needs to be strengthened tremendously to get back to consistent winning and winning big games and driving ratings nationally.

These are the only things that will help WVU athletics going forward.

the BIG 12 is in a very good position and will be even better if they can acquire ( or possibly merge with) the bulk of the PAC 12, which will help solidify the conference in the top 3 and keep them in the national championship picture.

Sorry but the Big12 if it survives, will be no better than whatever is out there left standing outside the B1G and SEC. It will become insignificant. Less money, lower recruits, and scarcity views. And right now it is NOT the only option.

Why you want to hold onto a lesser league is beyond fathom.

The Big12 chose WVU over Louisville. Mitch McConnell tried to sway the selection towards Louisville, but Joe Manchin also stepped in and WVU got the invite. We will never know if the ACC would’ve done the same. They supposedly called WVU right after they accepted the Big12 invite, however, WVU was already committed to the Big12. So the ACC went with Louisville supposedly.
^^ this.
WVU was already gone or they would have been the invite to ACC over louisville. the only thing going against them (and i don't agree with it) was the academics and that got thrown out the window with UL in the acc's caught with pants down, again, scramble. ACC needed football not market right then, even with splatterings of sort-of-success UL has had, they were not WVU

What ever happens to The Acc, Big 12, Pac 12 long-term will be dependent on how much more the Big 10 and Sec decide to grow. When these conferences had less than 12 teams 12 was the number. When they reached 12 it became 16 now some are talking 20, 24, 32. What ever they end up with will be at the expense of the Acc, Big 12, Pac 12. I don't think any of the Pac 12 teams are going to leave for the Big 12. All the expansion articles coming out now are nothing but regurgitated stories from a week ago. It makes sense its the slow season for these writers and they don't really have much to talk about. In the end the the remaining Pac schools will most likely stay put no sense in jumping from one dumpster fire to the next
