It's ok, they haven't won a championship since like…1936 or something?
Bro, that's a cop out.
They own Duke.

A loss is fine but that was not. I could care less about. " rest". What about pride and winning?
No dramatics DukeDenver. I've been watching Duke for 24 years. Realistically from what I have seen all season, this is a team that is prime for a first round exit. I really hope I'm not right but from what I see there is a high chance. I still love this team but be ready for a one and done in the tourney.
Watching Grayson's reaction at the end of the game, did we just see Grayson's last ACC game.? I hope not
That is one of the dumbest statements I have seen on here in awhile!First Duke team I have seen totally give up Brey has K's number

I don't even know if it was the defense as much as it was the offense going down the stretch. I mean Duke could not hit anything, nothing going down the final minutes.Blame this lose on coach K. Can we please stop playing 2-3 zone because our players still foul and the zone gives wide open shots in the paint, not to mention playing 1 big allows the other team to get tips in and offensive rebounds. Auguste had 22 rebounds, that is his career high.
If it helps at all, the last 4 times we've lost to them still is less total points than how much we beat them last year at Cameron: 90-60.My gosh I'm so sick of losing to ND
I hope not either. Love the kid. That is exactly what that looked like. Even with how the coaches were treating him. It appeared they were saying goodbye to a senior.

Really, a cop out? Bra, I'll still take K's 5 championships to Brey's 0. You think it's a cop out because ND's greatest achievement is beating Duke in close games.Bro, that's a cop out.
They own Duke.
Or could it be that he saw some of his team mates simply give up? No on said for sure he is goneBeen saying he is gone. Still have a good squad next year though!
Heck, you need to contact K and see if you can be a game time coach. LOLWhen Duke was up by 16 I would have had 2 bigs in the game and gave Allen a 2-3 minute break. When playing 2 bigs it allows Kennard and Matt Jones to be on the bench and they can come in and sub for players who might be alittle tired. Jeter played very well in the 2nd half and Plumlee was struggling I will base that on his broken nose, but Jeter should have played a little more. Once again a lineup on Plumlee Jeter Ingram Allen and Thornton can produce on offense.
Last year we played with a short bench but was able to win, this year we have a short bench and it is costing us. Can this be a lesson learned for coach K to develop a bench by getting bench players involved at the beginning of the season and letting them play meaningful minutes all year that way if you have an injury your team can still produce.
Please don't compare this year's team to last year's. First Amile is hurt. Secondly, Jeter is no Jah. DT is not a Tyus. Next year's Duke team will be like last year'sLast year we played with a short bench but was able to win, this year we have a short bench and it is costing us. I think Thorton was on the bench because of his shot not being on and turnovers. Ingram had four fouls and was not having a very good game either. Duke jumped out to the lead in the first half with Ingram on the bench. I think K had to slow the game down with the foul situation but the team started standing around and weren't in good defensive position to make plays. Grayson Allen is a warrior but with the talent level that the Irish has Ingram is suppose to dominate down the stretch against these 6' 5" kids .Didn't happenCoach K did not have his best game. He left Ingram on the bench too long when lead was evaporating.
Did not understand having Thornton on the bench versus man to man. There was no offensive movement for about 6 minutes. There was only clock watching.
That zone was pathetic. Beacham got open looks when Duke wings gave help down low.

A friendly wager? I'm 99.9% certain he's gone.Grayson ain't leaving

I want Grayson back but why on earth would he want to come back. Everything he does is blown up into a major story more than any college basketball player in the country. I just read that the embrace from K was to show people that he loves Grayson and that Duke fans should love Grayson. I think K is probably fed up with all the crap Grayson is getting!I'm not that certain, but I tend to agree it's very unlikely he returns.
