Cates had 236 of his wins at ER. Left for Lee County after coaching for one year following the construction of Providence Grove which caused reduction of student athlete numbers. Last year at ER 3-8 record. First year at Lee County 3-8. Did a lot of winning other years though.

don't know about that FF....they've never named anything in Reidsville after a former coach...thinking of George Wingfield and Hap Perry (football) and Hoy Isaccs (basketball)...All 3 are in the NCHSAA Hall of Fame...and there's nary a thing named after them in the athletic department.....................

Yes, Coach Jerry Cash spent most of his career in South Carolina (Boiling Springs, Janesville, Riverside and Chesnee HS) and then came to NC to Coach East Rutherford. Retired and then came back to turnaround the Thomas Jefferson program.

According to my records, Coach Teague is actually 308-106, including 267-53 at Reidsville
