Pulled out a 2-1 win tonight for their 4th consecutive victory and Kimbrel's 4th consecutive save. He may have the best fastball slider combo of any closer in the game. He can get in trouble, but when he's throwing his slider effectively it's hard to hit him.

The lineup had a rough night tonight, but McCann raised his average .134 points after yesterdays 4 for 5 game, Heyward is batting .346, and we still havestarters like Bourn, Freeman, andUggla who are hitting below .200but will hopefully come around soon. Nice to put together 4 wins in a rowafter such a dismal start.

I'm just glad we had a starting pitcher go more than 5 innings.. Even happier that it was Minor. Hopefully, that'll give him lots of confidence going into the next few weeks. It'll be nice when we get Hudson back too. Once Bourn gets going, the offense should be fine. Uggla is always going to struggle with his BA but he'll still get his 25-30 homeruns. Now we just need to start winning without having to use Venters and Kimbrel every time.

Minor pitching that well and going that long is huge. And JHey producing is huge. I hope he's officially done with his scouting-induced sophomore slump.
