Albemarle vs. North Moore

Well o.k....

Albemarle drives all the way to Moore county and gets pummeled. 35-7.

I haven't been to an Albemarle game this year and I'm not ashamed to say that, but I try my best to keep up with them. A well know coach from West Montgomery hit my up yesterday and chatted about the current struggles of Albemarle. He admitted that West was at that point on-time or another. He said our kids played hard, they just need to get in the weight room to get stronger and faster.

For a person who works out quite a bit, some-things you just can't teach. I hope the kids realize what it takes to be a champion and go out and compete.

NM will drive the ball down our throat. We are young, inexperienced, physically weak, and don't like contact. We have a long way to go. Just hope these kids will hang in there and realize what it takes to be a champion......

Susan shut up lol my credibility? Really? I have seen multiple people address you and your comments I would suggest you focus more on your relevance than anything else. I am still supporting these kids and my team. Get on with that foolishness.

I have no comment. Look at the scoreboard. I think my prediction was more accurate.

I am a graduate from AHS and love the football team more than anyone can imagine. I have been there through the GREAT and the bad. If I have read these threads correctly, you are from ohio. I will not leave my team but hope they get better because right now they are getting embarrassed. I have seen us play for many years and never seen anything like this. This is without a doubt the worse football team in AHS history.

We only dressed 25 tonight missing some of our best players check the stat sheet. Not saying it would make that big of a difference but definitely a difference.

And? Ohio or not what does that have to do with anything? Support them or don't. But all you do is bash them, why? Your comments have been addressed by numerous people on this site because all you do is talk crap about these kids. Support them or be quiet hell this isn't college. Your dealing with young kids not even the majority are upper classmen. Is it their fault shady things have been going on that led to this young group shouldering the albemarle football program? Look at NS roster they have 7 kids I believe who played for AHS. You think that has nothing to do with events that have take place over the past two years or even a coincidence? The program has to be rebuilt. It will take some time and the right people. There are still football kids at the school with great size who didn't play this year. For AHS to be successful you have to get those kids involved. Like I said before don't give me none of that mess.

Now back to my pick since you seem to be cool corned over it. At the beginning of the season I picked them to get about 3-4 wins my thoughts were they would get SD possibly CC SS And or UA or even possibly be able to catch a team sleeping. My pick tonight was that sleeper game I thought they may be able to get. They didn't still going to support them and until the games are played they can still get two more wins. Will be tough as I heard SS played very well tonight against CC.

Final North Moore 50 Albemarle 6

North Moore has East Montgomery away next Friday night, then Chatham Central, and Kestrel Heights in a regular season ending non-conference game.

Don't sweat it Susan. Sometimes people can't see the forest for the trees. ;) And the way I see it, "Just being honest isn't bashing!!! I graduated from Albemarle in 1977 and saw my son graduate in 2005 and was a part of Albemarle's Glory Days. Now, my nephew is on this team,......and well.......it's like night and day.
