Both coming off disappointing losses whichever team shows some grit and toughness will win IMO.

Depends on which Alexander Central team shows up the one who barley beat Ashe County and got hammered by the fighting justices. Or the one who played Watauga close. So this is a tossup and hard to pick
Panthers had 2 injuries Friday night against Watauga and hopefully both will be cleared to play this week as both huge pieces on defense!! The JV season has been cancelled for Hibriten so we will see if any of them are brought up and if they can contribute on Friday nights.. I know their was a freshman who started at Ashe but he was not there this past Friday!!
Huge game IMO for Hibriten to see how they respond from the whooping we took last week.. Also like previous poster said it could determine a lot on which A/C team comes to Lenoir!!! Lots of questions going into the game this week and hard to make a prediction

The freshman who played DB against Ashe was in quarantine I was told and #44 Earp will return, his wrist checked out OK. Just depends on which teams shows up for either team. We'll know Friday night, who wants to win!
Injuries and numbers have went down recently… They already played both A/C and South earlier so it was decided it was safer for the kids instead of playing with really low numbers
They played earlier in the year they beat South pretty easily.
Now I remember they did play at South. The game is not listed on MaxPreps scores and HHS did handle them pretty well. I actually went to that game. It's rough getting old!
Really surprised that perennial state championship contender AC hasn’t fared so well this year….they at least won their county championship for the 50th consecutive year…..where are all the AC posters at?
I'll take the Panthers at home by 7. One of the coolest places to watch a game in the state up there.
Good win for Hibriten. Hard fought on both sides, seemed to be equally matched teams. Best of luck to both teams next week!
Very good game tonight…. Glad to see Panthers fight back after being down 12-0 early…. Prayers for the injured players on both sides tonight.. one of the A/C players actually taken by ambulance after the game 
Really surprised to see hibriten struggle early. Obviously I didn't see the game, just expected them to get off to a fast start.
Word from a friend at AC was a broken femur possibly? Prayers to him for a good prognosis. AC has had multiple injuries this season on the team. Hope they complete the season injury free going forward.
Turnovers and Penalties killed them in the First quarter and a half…. Put together a very good drive before halftime to only be down 12-7

Hibriten clinches the #1 Seed and a home playoff game with a 500 record atleast. Bad lose to Alexander Central majorly in danger of missing the playoffs. Question for Hibriten will the almost 6 year road win streak end next week in sawmills???
