KW23, I don't have the chance to post scores during the game. Despite each teams record I expect a tough, hard fought game tonight.
I am not getting EW vs Alleghany scores tonight ,I hope you don't mind my using yours. Just making sure you get the credit.

East played their best game of the season. The D was great. Most impressive is the way they play their position and trust everyone. They swarm to the ball and it is fun to watch. Really impressed tonight with the play of #1 on the edge. He would not let anything get outside him and funneled everything back to the center of the field.
Bryce played really well at QB for his first varsity start. There are a few things that he needs to clean up, however nothing that cannot be cleaned up with reps.
Now the real season starts. It is good to be 6 - 0, but 7 - 0 would be great. I do expect a victory over Elkin, however rarely does anything come easy for East Wilkes against Elkin and I would not expect it this week.
Then Ashe, Starmount, WC and West. That stretch should show us what East really has, but I believe they will do well.
Alleghany is just so young, however that coaching staff does have some kids to work with. I think they will make some noise in the coming years.

The last drive of the game they moved about 35 yards against guy's getting some game experience. I don't think they ever made it inside the Cardinal 25.
I know this has been a tough year for the Trojans. I hope the kids and coaches keep their heads up. There is talent there despite the score. I was close to the Trojan sideline. I thought the players did a good job encouraging each other and I thought the coaches did a good job staying positive and trying to teach.
