if the game wasn't so early I would be really fired up.

This waiting 3 or 4 years to be good is reality. Not because we accept mediocrity or don't strive to be the best, but because the previous regime accepted mediocrity. It took 6 or so years to put us in this hole and if you expect for Mullen to pull us out of it in one year you're kidding yourself. Our current regime in the Bryan Building from all accounts does not accept mediocrity. You act like you want Mullen to turn us into a national power just by taking over. He can only do so much with what was left. Like I said, enjoy the progressive improvement, and with the standards that are set in the Bryan Building we'll get to the level you and all of us fans want us to be at in time. It is perfectly acceptable to demand excellence and have realistic expectations at the same time. Realistic expectations for this year I think are for about 4 wins, to be competitive in all our games, and show consistent improvement in all aspects of the game as the season progresses. If those three things happen, this year should be deemed a success for Mullen. Next year, the expectations will increase and so on and so forth until we are at a championship level. Championship level is the big picture goal and expectation, but along the way there has to be smaller goals and lesser expectations to show that we are moving towards the big goal. This waiting 3 or 4 years crap is bs. No other team in the SEC besides Vandy puts up with that sort of mentality.
What the hell are you talking bout.....please post coherent thoughts....i mean hell your first sentence goes into how "you" are not sold on Mullen's offense, then you follow that sentence up with this gem: "When we played someone with a decent offense we got stomped."......I suppose you didnt score 24 or higher on your English section of the ACT.....two totally seperate thoughts should be in two seperate paragraphs.....just sayinStansfield said:I really am not sold on Mullins offense yet. Call me a moron, a troll, creepy whatever, but I am not impressed yet ya'll. When we played someone with a decent offense we got stomped.
Geebus you are an idiot. They are running that play all game long. Its called a read option and Tyson decides whether to hand it off or keep it during the play. That time he decided to keep it and it was the right call but it was the same damn play we saw multiple times that game. See this is why everyone says you're a freaking idiot. You ***** and moan about how inefficient and unexciting the offense is and you want some "neat ****". The problem is you clearly have no football knowledge whatsoever. None. You're football IQ is somewhere around 5. I mean this is basic basic stuff and you clearly have no clue, you think the Lee TD is some new and "neat ****" but we've probably run that play or some minor variants over 20 times already this year.Stansfield said:Yes, I am going to be a pessimistic debbie downer of a bulldog fan until I see some really neat **** going on on the offense. That little sneak Lee pulled off to get the TD was exactly what I am talking about, but why not pull that kind of **** the entire game?
