Well, one semi-positive outcome of this pandemic is that it has shed a bright shining light on what most of us already knew...teachers’ unions don’t give a flying eff about kids. Not one bit. Not that the kids are a low priority...they aren’t even on the unions’ list of priorities.

Sad but true.
This may be a reason publix schools are rated so low. It is not for lack of funding. That excuse doesn't fly anymore.

“teachers” are the most entitled, whiny and ignorant people in the workforce. I’m sick of people treating them like they’re gods public school is nothing more than public indoctrination most “teachers” don’t even teach they just show a youtube video and hand out a worksheet. Not to say there aren’t any good teachers but they are few and far between. Most don’t even care about the kids and would rather moan about their paychecks.

I’m not knocking teachers in general. Just like any other profession there are some good and some bad and plenty in between. Furthermore, God bless anyone who decides to teach in the public school system these days. Ain’t enough dollars out there for me to even remotely consider that as a profession.

What I’m saying is that the teachers unions are an embarrassing joke in that, amongst many other faults, they don’t give a damn about the kids. If there’s anyone out there that doesn’t realize that by now then your head is buried in the sand at the bottom of the ocean underneath a leaking oil rig.

I'm pretty indifferent on restaurants although I lean towards allowing them to operate in some fashion. Give people and owners the freedom to make their own decisions on safety. But I'm not dying on that hill like schools. I love going out to eat, but tbh, I have a 5 week old so we're pretty homebound until Flu and RSV season is over.

My issue is jerking the owners around with inconsistent, irrational, and arbitrary rules. If it's unsafe, I need more than that one study from a restaurant in China. Let's see the data. If they can't be open then stop f*cking around and get those business owners real help. Right now they have no data, no consistency, no help and really no light at the end of the tunnel. The PPP or 10k loans aren't floating any business for a year. TS. Props to them for making it this long. I can't imagine being in their shoes. It's very sad.

Glad you think it's funny though.

I'm mocking the absurdity that there is that much of a difference from putting people in a tent vs inside. Similar to the nonsense of wearing a mask to your table but then sitting around for an hour talking and spitting food everywhere.

I think most of this reaction is both hysterical and infuriating.

Below is a link to the attorney general’s (and Danville Christian’s) reply brief that he filed with the Supreme Court today. The first section is fairly legalistic, but if you skip to section 2, beginning on page 7 of the brief, he absolutely eviscerates Beshear and Stack on the facts. Pretty fun read.

Did andy go to Scotus with only Stack's opinion?

That's some balls.

I actually enjoyed reading such a well-written brief. But when you have roughly 20 attorneys writing a 13-page brief...

That’s what it sounds like. Can’t believe they went into the preliminary injunction hearing with nothing more than Stack’s opinion.

What’s worse, Stack never bothered to find any data or evidence to support his opinions. Just went in there slinging around anecdotal talking points (schools are dangerous!).

No kidding.

I guess when you get on the TV every single day peddling this nonsense to stupid people watching it, you really start to feel empowered.
