Is how battle-tested the SEC teams are. It's not just athletes that are bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone else. These guys have been through the fire by the time they reach the title game. Let's face it, once you start conference play, you're essentially playing a BCS game almost every week. In a lot of ways, the title game, and especially any other bowl game, is just another game. Not so much for other conferences, who play maybe 2-4 "big" games during the regular season. Try playing 6-8, because that's what's happening in the SEC every week.
