I don’t know who new ER coach will be but I’m afraid turnout/participation will be way down. So sad if that’s gonna be the case. ER always has solid athletes year in and year out.

I thought RS gave the job to the DC. It's very sad for ER. They've always had athletes. I never thought I would see that program in so much turmoil.

With only 5-6 weeks til the season starts surely it'll just be an interim coach I'd think? Or will East even have enough turnout to field a team this year?

Per Austin Bailey of the Daily Courier, hires have been made for ER and RS:

East: Josh Wilson (Pinecrest)

R-S: John Faircloth (from Erwin, NC with ties to Mars Hill)
