Do we have any chance for Devin Booker or Malik Newman? Are there any other big prospects that we have a shot at that haven't really been mentioned? It seems like bball recruiting usually takes a backseat to football recruiting and Im curious if there are any legit prospects that can get our program turned back around fairly quickly.

I know MSU has friends in Moss Point. Hopefully Ray can pull him. I don't know anything about bball recrootin or who he is leaning towards though. I just want to see Ray recruit Mississippi hard.
I have read where many people think Booker will end up at Michigan or Michigan State. He would be a nice pull and we definitely have minute to offer with our roster situation.
I spoke to someone last week who is close friends with
Malik and Horatio Webster....at this time, MSU does not have much of a shot at Malik which you would figure to be a one and done college player.....

Both of these recruits are top national guys -- Roster situations and PT will not be on their radar in making a decision. Who can do the best job of getting them to the NBA in one year is the more likely criteria honestly...
