Got caught up in other pissing matches. But you test kids and create the proper avenues that fit the way they think/process. We discard so many kids because we "don't want to fool with them". There's a couple people around I know personally who are on the spectrum etc. They were accused of being "lazy" by educators when they were never lazy a day a day in their lives. They struggled with distractions and social functionality but were extremely intelligent. They were forced to get test answers in ways their minds didn't work when they could give the correct answer doing it their way rather easily. Stop focusing on trying to make kids think the same damn way. Who cares how they got the right answers when they always get them their way? Education as a one size fits all isn't possible without exclusion, confusion, and negative impacts on a lot of kids.I asked you a question and you went off on a rant that never answered the question.
This is your opportunity to shine- tell us how you would do it, don't continue to tell us why you dislike the current system.
Further, don't try to claim I don't understand that people learn in different ways or that some groups may struggle with standardized testing.
17 off with that.
Just because I asked you l what you would do doesn't mean I am blindly defending the current system.
