Absolutely. Everyone knows the SEC is the best, so there's no benefit for us for Alabama to win.

When was the last time Notre Dame stole an in-state recruit from us? I've always hated Notre Dame, but I'm cheering for them next month.

Is this the only time in college football history that a majority of Americans root for Notre Dame?

go irish

I don't know how many people still go to school at state but you would think we were in Alabama when they won this game. So many students that go to state jump all in the Alabama band wagon, it's ridiculous

Pulling for Bama.

SEC's continued dominance is in our best interest. Starting to get to the point where teams like us and OM CAN go into Indiana and take kids Notre Dame wants. We don't need anything to set that process back at all.

The national championship game was just concluded. The abortion of a foregone conclusion masquerading as a "championship game" that will occur in early January, is a meaningless formality. My advice to the f'n domers: Prepare your anus.

Definitely not pulling for Notre Dame. Up here, the Domers ARE the Bammers (only keep up with one sport, never been to campus, etc. etc.). Plus, Brian Kelly is an enormous asshat.
And judging from their roster, Notre Dame could not recruit from Indiana and still be doing pretty damn good.

Yeah, an UA win would mean their recruiting class falls apart and you can get...

I know you're joking, but on a related note. I know some State people that are catholic and by default they are Notre Dame fans. I don't get it. Just because ND is a catholic school? Dude is a real State fan, but is also proud that ND is ranked above all the SEC teams.

How many Baptists do you know that are defacto Baylor fans?

Nope. The coddling of Notre Dame by the BCS and media is more nauseating to me than sidewalk Bama fans. And do you realize how miserable it would be to hear Lou Holtz if they do win?

Will not pull for Irish. Anytime a SEC team is in the finals, I'll pull for them. I'm not happy that it's BAMA. I figure I'm rooting for the SEC, not Bama. 17'em

Me and most of my Catholic friends loathe ND. I have to explain my disdain to other Catholics in which I always ask if they are huge Boston College fans.

I`d have a bigger problem with people pulling against ND or Baylor because of their religious affiliations than pulling for them because of their religious affiliations.

I'm rooting for whoever wins

Several of my facebook friends have "second teams", so I've decided that whoever wins this game is "my second favorite team". Roll Up the Tide Echoes.
