there have been rumors of Melvin needing a change of scenery...wouldn't be surprised at all

I'd say I'll be surprised if Melvin returns for 2013- but if he indeed has 24 years in the system- you could see him back for 1 more season

Considering his pre-signing day buy-out is supposedly pretty big and the fact that he needs about a year left for Mississippi retirement, I doubt he is going anywhere.

I agree and I smell Ole Miss fingerprints here. They badly want to flip Kalio. Melvin is Kalio's recruiter and Ole Miss wants to put doubts in Kalio's head.

I'll never forget his comments when he came back to State from TAMU - "I would have crawled back to Mississippi"

Melvin loves State, he loves Starkville.

I wonder how good it would really be for OM if Melvin went to Auburn? Auburn would probably have a lot of success in MS if that happened which would mean taking the top players in the state from OM and State.

And I dont believe this round of Melvin rumors is coming from OM. This originated on Auburn sites.
