Arizona State to hire June Jones..

Sign me up to watch a June Jones team play a Mike Leach team in conference. Hell I bet that score will be higher than the WSU and ASU basketball score
You realize that SMU hadn't been to a bowl game since 1984 and only had 3 winning seasons since 1984 until he got there. He's taking SMU to their 3rd straight bowl game, so I don't think he's doing too shabby. Matter of fact, I think he will fit right in with the Pac12 with Offense and no Defense...
He's helped make Hawaii into a pretty competitive school (in their conference of course...) when he was there and he resurrected a school that got the death penalty... Kind of hard to say he's an overrated coach doing things like that.
That would imply he was rated highly to begin with.
The guy was at Hawaii, lit the world on fire with offense and parlayed that into a job rebuilding an awful program, SMU, in an average conference, CUSA.
He took a horrible Hawaii team and got them to a bowl game in their first season. He got them ranked at the end of each of the last 2 seasons.
He then took an SMU program that was beyond awful and has them in their 3rd bowl game in a row. They tied for 1st in their conference twice too.
He seems to have a decent record of taking bad programs and turning them around. Will that work at ASU? Who knows.
