I love how the guy at UMC is openly laying the ground work to hire him as soon as signing day is over..... He is the most qualified candidate in the WORLD.......

Once again, SPS scoop

http://forums.sixpackspeak.com/showthread.php?99600-PEER-Committee-Investigating

...is proven true.

Keep it up, Rebels. You'll find yourself with a bowl ban for years to come. Booster-funded crootin violations are one thing (for which the NCAA recently made head coaches more accountable for), but school (taxpayer) funded violations are a whole different ball game.

PEER has looked into this, in fact they did a month ago and found nothing wrong. This is old news that nothing came of. Always entertaining on TSUNPack though

Kim-Deechee's okay in their sight. Because they're from Nigeria, they're NOT the descendant of slaves. He'll be okey-dokey at all the KA frat parties.

For the record, I have no idea who you are outside of a guy on a message board

And that's the truth.

The Spirit wants to sue you guys. Seriously, they are blaming this on the pack and say you folks should be sued.

I'm sure Saban will call him from Miami and say something like "Hey Robert, I'm calling you as I prepare for the national championship game, my third in four years. If a coach calling you from Birmingham impresses you more, well, we don't need you at Alabama then"

BS. They article says that potentially it's out of their scope (i.e., these claims are substantial but we're not going to touch it until we get some real heat).

Oh well! Case closed! You know since PEER is the governing body of college athletics and all.

So what will y'all say when nothing ever comes of this and Nkemdiche plays 3-4 years at Ole Miss and we still have no sanctions?

Of course, I know what the answer will be, but I want to see just how dumb y'all can be.

Probably the same thing you guys will say if Quay Evans and Nick James step on the field at MSU....oh wait...

Anyone remember the Masoli ruling? The "Houston Nutt Rule"?

These guys are experts are finding a weakness in rule books and using it to their advantage. Kudos to them for doing that.

Everybody knows the real reason RN's dad would be hired at the University, but as long as it can be proven that he wasn't qualified or unreasonably paid, how do you nail them for that? You have to side with what can be documented. As long as some dumb *** doesn't go on record saying that Sunny Nkemdiche was hired an in on his son, the paper trail says that he's just another researcher qualified for the job.

The best you can hope for in terms of NCAA repercussions in this is that they finally get tired of OM pushing the rule book every other year. Then, maybe the NCAA starts watching them a little closer and busts them on something they are a less prepared for.

I'm hearing today that Summers is actually pushing for Kimdeechee to go somewhere other than Ole Miss now because he doesn't want anyone digging deeper into his "situation" with Doc Kimdeechee.

I hope they are letting all of the recruits know that they will not be playing with RN if they go to OM.

wouldn't he just not hire the elder Knimdeeche? Unless there is documentation that he has offered him a job contingent on the son going to Ole Miss, I'm not sure how anything can come from him NOT working at UMC. Even if there is a paper trail, the actual improper benefit doesn't exist if he never goes to work for UMC.

To me this whole thing is much ado about nothing unless the man actually gets hired by UMC. It does make for entertaining fodder though.

Wait till the Ethics Commission sniffs this. They don't need a paper trail, they only need the appearance of impropriety, not proof, to enforce conflict of interest laws.

True, we're really in deep trouble on this one.

Just like all those other times the imminent demise of Ole Miss athletics has been reported on SPS. To make matters worse now we have to contend with FlabLoser and his intricate knowledge of the "appearance of impropriety" as it relates to "conflict of interest laws."
