We should have never allowed women to get tattoos and piercings. The ones with low impulse control have them scattered all over their bodies in no particular order like my toddlers used to do to their Barbie dolls when I gave them stickers. But it does signal to others at a bar or club, "Hey, I have low-pulse control. Go ahead. You might have a chance." Smart, college educated women with limited exposure to women's studies courses and more future-time orientation know how to limit body modification.

Again, we are talking about an entry level gas station job- that is what was being discussed when the 'self harm' comment was made- that someone cant work at bucees if they have visible tats.
$18 entry level jobs are all over the place- warehouses etc that DGA17 if a person has a visible tattoo.
If someone's fullest potential is making $18, which is what was initially cited, then cool- I am confident they can make that in a number of jobs where a visible tattoo will be acceptable.

'Self inflicted harm' is different from 'self harm'. Got it. Not sure how, since both involve the person that is harmed doing the harming, but noted for future posts- I will specify that the harm one does to one's self is inflicted so as to not confuse anyone with other ways harm to one's self can be implemented.

As for 'self inflicted injury' and 'self inflicted harm' not implying physical harm or injury?...I genuinely dont know how you parse that out in your mind. The term 'self inflicted gun shot would', to me, sure seems like a 'self inflicted injury'. But if those mean something different to you, fair enough- I will chalk that up to a regional colloquialism.

Why so many folks want to just exist in a nursing home or other similar situation is beyond me. When it comes a time I can't care for myself, or i'm in too much pain, or QOL is very low, I want the option of downing some type of pill at home.

I do grow some kale and like young leaves of it mixed in with other lettuces and good stuff in a salad. Not so much by itself.
