Took my words, doesn't seem like Tabor has a backup QB option. If he can't play it might be basketball and indoor track season for those guys.
They are pretty good. If the QB plays they should beat the cougars. I expect a defensive game though.

True...and Tabor got a huge break on the QB sack in bounds with an injured player. Guys were all downfield where 8 to 10 seconds should have run off..tough break

Tough loss by Asheville. The 4th and 10 conversion was huge by Tabor along with the time stop for injury late in game.
Yea that was suspect. That literally saved them 30 seconds. And they kicked the fg thanks to that time
Was he injured? Not sure if the kid was actually injured or not. But if he wasn't, what a big heady play by Tabor. We call that being clever.
I originally said 8-10 seconds but in retrospect I think it was closer to 20 considering where the tackle was and the offensive players in the pattern. A smart coach could take advantage and have a running back go down (that's not what happened) just to stop the clock and get reorganized since there is no time run off. In any event, Asheville had multiple opportunities on that last drive to seal the win.
Yeah he was hurt. The LB ran thru him on the way to chasing down the QB. He was face down way before the sack
