That interview right there shows you why bringing up Coach Leo is not worth the time it takes to type his name. They are a package deal all the way.

Sometimes Good Things happen to Good People. That saying applies to more than one person in this case: Coach, AA, and NS, and the WHOLE Rutgers Wrestling Program!

Great Interview! Thank you for sharing it!

I hope this season puts an end to that guy who was CONSTANTLY on here saying Goodale should go back to Jackson because we never should have hired a high school coach.

Robert Mulcahy must be proud of making decison to hire Goodale 12 years ago to see the growth in program since 2007.

Robert Mulcahy must be proud of making decison to hire Goodale 12 years ago to see the growth in program since 2007.

Wrestling is the rare case where each AD (Mulcahy, Pernetti, Hermann, and Hobbs) has seen the potential and helped in some way to get where it is today. That really comes down to Goodale and the key boosters for the sport. They have made this happen, with a lot of time, a lot of money, and a lot of dedication.

Bob Mulcahy saved the Rutgers wrestling program and hired Scott Goodale. Bob’s decision resulted in two national champs, excitement at the RAC, and Rutgers earning thousands of dollars of free nationwide positive publicity.

The SKWC will be celebrating the season and honoring Bob at our inguaral Knight Games on Friday, May 3.

Please attend to celebrate with the coaches and the Rutgers Wrestling community. It will an evening that should not be missed by any wrestling fan.
