Jim from Corinth was pressing Cross about why no interview with Yancy...always with the other guy from the Spirit. Radio silence and a pissed off radio host later...ol' Dick says "what are you getting at, Jim?"

Truth is, the H2H guys know that no radio show worth its salt would invite that clown for an interview. Any guy that admittedly baits people on Twitter and tweets bs to elicit a response is completely nuts. Not to mention the whole creepy, stalker vibe of ol' Yance.

kudos to Jim for stonewalling the resident rebelhead with what is a legitimate question. The stalker has no business doing what he does. He's got half of Bulldog nation thinking we not only lose CJ but Shumpert as well.

I heard that and I agreed with the caller....

I like Matt but he didn't have an answer either. It's like they both were admitting that Yancy is full of ****, and they didn't know what to say. I like the show but I'm really getting tired of Cross's underhanded comments concerning MSU, while Matt sings the praises of Ole Miss.

Been saying this for years about Matt. I like the guy but good grief he gets on my nerves with all this love of the bear stuff. I expect him to blast the bears or anything but man the love he has for them is ridiculous.

I've sensed the same thing about Wyatt. It's sometimes like he plays the fall guy for Cross' praises of OM. Wyatt may be a mole. He needs to be fired from the State broadcast team.

The game changed when they landed the Supertalk deal and the extra hour. It still feels like only 2 hours of sports talk, due to the traffic and news every half hour. Certainly they seem more picky about what they are willing to talk about compared to their time before the first of the year. And they both have on-air gameday duties during football season. Matt has transcended objectivity and strokes the ole miss side quite often. He married a reb gal and probably has more om friends than MSU friends nowadays.

Which is exactly why the show is 75% Ole Miss perspective. Cross always gets in his jabs and Matt is just too nice of a guy to say anything bad about Ole Miss or attack Cross or callers when they dog State.

They took it off the station I listened to and I'm sure I could find it if I tried but I just haven't really tried and don't want to.

I can't listen to that show because of Matt. Not only does Cross get all his digs in unnoticed and without rebuttal, but Matt struggles to make his points on anything making the show a chore.

I'm not questioing his loyalty to Miss. State...

but damn, he needs to try to at least point/counter point when Cross throws in his arrogant *** comments. Matt is always very complimentary of Ole Miss, which I don't have a problem with if it's justified, but Cross never returns the favor. Sometimes Matt blabbers on with out making a point. Maybe he's not as witty as Cross, I don't know, but the show is becoming a drain especially with all the commercials and state-wide conservative BS.

She isn't JUST a Rebel. She's a former Miss Ole Miss. That should tell you all you need to know about why Matt won't bring the heat regarding the Bearz.

Oh and Matt will get on their *** if they get too out of line. He does a decent job to me and I can sympathize with him having to dance around a little to keep the missus happy. I married a Rebel beauty myself. It's a tough life but I and I'm sure Matt am full maroon.

I realize this is completely innopropriate (I'm sure Ozarka agrees), but if you lived in ms and never smashed a UofM girl, I don't know what to tell you. There has never been a better come back than, "We'll that's not what she said last night." Also, if you are the type of man that wears the pants in a relationship, there is nothing wrong w/ marrying an UofM girl. You can eliminate OM fandom from that gene pool & claim "This is our bloodline"

I don't question his loyalty but I do sense on most issues he just lets cross jab and jab, when he does get fired up it is funny, I also think he is between a rock and hard place, because he has to know inside knowledge ...he travels with the football team for Christ sake.

i enjoy the show, but I think that show also relates to om beat writers vs Msu beat writers
om beat writers only chase good stories, hardly do you ever hear them put the ath in tough situations or trace 17yr old in pictures in the library with a cup in hand and a bracket on. ...like the Marshall situation they are out defending him, saying the fans are egging him on.

where as Msu beat writers will hide behind I am told to report the facts... And screen capture recruits on face book ...veazey chased the pony for weeks, dragging the story out

i mean if we are going to have hailstate beat, we need to have the biggest homer writing it we can, we need to pump the sunshine.

Upon further review, I didn't use an emoticon. I typed the word s h i t....

and the squares were put in instead. Now if the cussing rules have changed, then I may be in trouble but I ain't gonna use an emoticon very often anyway.

This. And people questioning Matt and not seeing his bias is incredible. I love Matt and his love for state but man he sucks on head to head and is definitely not less biased than Richard.

I too have noticed Cross being a douche towards MSU. Very suttle jabs. While Matt has been nothing but complimentary to OM.
