Betting lines for the games we care about:

Purdue -7 OSU
Houston -9.5 Cincy
A&M -6 Vandy
Memphis -6 Tulane
SDSU -1.5 Utah St
FAU +1 UAB

That FAU line is concerning. Didn’t expect them to be an underdog.

Yup, and that game is the single most important one today. I guess that shows the difference between a desperate team and one that knows they’re in, though to be fair FAU only beat UAB by 2 at home and lost by 9 on the road.

I’ll add Umass lowell-Vermont to this list. It wouldn’t move the needle for us but it’ll be the only game on at 11am (other than Cornell-Yale) so might as well root for Lowell.

If we wind up in Dayton, my (plum street) board predicting legacy rank will be basically untouchable . Would think this would put me as the greatest board predictor of all time. I know this board respects greatness !

Let’s recap the predictions
Flood is a dud . He was
Ash will get us smashed . He did
Carroo arrest was bogus. It was .
Dayton is our destiny . I don’t want this but it’s the prediction that was made way back mid February. I mean that’s legendary visionary if it happens when everyone discounted.

You have to say my NET and Kenpom must be through the roof and the metrics are great . Board cred through the roof !!

But much rather be seeded in the field of 60!

The more I think about it the more I am convinced. We are the last bye…..no matter how many bid thieves we have.

They aren’t making us 20-13 and putting us ahead of PSU, but they aren’t going to send us to Dayton.

Why make a statement of there is no meaning behind it.

I’ll still root for FAU, but I am confident (not 100%, or even 80!) we are 11 seed not in Dayton.

Maybe you’re actually the one causing these things to happen.

The only logical move is to ban you if we end up in Dayton. Sorry, it can’t be helped.

In my most optimistic of likely projections, I still think we’re just above Dayton. Bid stealers will move us to Dayton. Only really expecting one bid thief, but if there is I have a hard time seeing us forgoing the first four

I wish this were true but I just don’t see the committee having a problem sending us to Dayton twice in a row if we deserve it (which we will pending bid thieves).

I'm with you on this. I think more than 1 bid thieves screws us into Dayton but otherwise I just don't see them putting us there again now that we have our mojo back.

Sure it is, but at the time you made the prediction it was at the bottom end of the range of possible outcomes. You’re apparently bad luck. I’m sorry, I wish it weren’t the case.

At-large:
Texas A&M (72%) over Vanderbilt [good for anti bid-steal as well]
Indiana (57%) over Penn St.

Anti bid-steal:
Houston (82%) over Cincinnati
Memphis (75%) over Tulane
Purdue (77%) over Ohio St.
Florida Atlantic (54%) over UAB

Correct. It's just a happy accident that we are rooting for favorites today (although FAU, the most important one probably, is a slight underdog in the actual betting markets)
