Rick Ray says Fred Thomas is at 207lbs from 190, Chicken at 199 from 180, Bloodman at 190 from 180 and Gavin Ware is down to 263 from 280. Also Chicken is back playing his natural position the 2 with Davis, Ready and Bloodman running the point.
Besides Ware losing weight I don't think this is a big deal. It's more something to give to the fans to show how he's doing something than something that necessarily is going to help us. Why does our #2 #2 need to gain 17 pounds? He's a perimeter player. We got bounced around inside (i.e. Roq). I mean, good for him trying to better himself and his game but I'd rather him go out there and practice his 3. Chicken needs to be out there practicing his free throws. Gaining muscle isn't helping that. It's just something to be like "HEY! LOOK WHAT I DID! LIKE ME!"... and I say that as someone who hated our strength and conditioning (more so the conditioning part) program before.
Look, I'm cautiously optimistic. I want this team to be successful but I know first hand that this team lost at least 2 games last season because they were selfish and stupid the night before doing stuff that was very reminiscent of something you'd hear/see under Stans. I know that the other players don't like our best player (Ware) because he's a "snitch"... Ray helped stop the bleeding but we've flat-lined. Call it.
but I don't think he has the motor, drive, relentless effort required to get us back contending for SEC championships. Hope i'm wrong

saying this is the case with everyone, but some people just have trouble putting on good weight. Hell, Jarvis is pretty much the same size now (in the pros).
I don't think he possesses the "off the court" skills to put us back near the top in the SEC.
I'll see your Ravern/Jarvis and raise you a Timmy/Z
