They suck, just like Herbstreit said. It's a disgrace. I'll watch Florida and Louisville just because I know a few whiners from the l'ville side.

K-State - Oregon should be a great game. #4 vs. #5. I like the FSU - NIU game for the underdog factor. This is one the little guy could legitimately win. But yeah, the SEC's dominance and the 2 teams from 1 conference have FUBARed the system. I'm good with giving 1 mid-major a shot if they've got a decent ranking. But Louisville doesn't even begin to belong. Replace them with UGA and the bowls would look a lot better.

I'm living in the old days as far as watching bowl games go. I still get excited about New Year's Day bowl games and lose a little interest after that. Of course I always watch the NC game, but don't watch many of the other BCS bowl games unless there is a real good match up. No interest in the Orange and Sugar this year either.

Im like you 1976 in that I enjoy the New Years Day bowls and the tradition and thats the reason I wanted to see us in the Gator, But I dislike all of the SEC tie in games at the same time and in the AM. Would also like to see the Cotton Bowl back on NYD and ChickFila/Peach Bowl on NYD instead of NYE night. I think unless your team is playing, it gets lost in all of the other NYE overblown hoopla.
I would also like to see the tie-ins go away except for the traditional tie-ins like SEC/Sugar, Pac12/Big10/Rose, Orange/ACC, etc.
