Disagree with the entire ‘game planning’ premise. Sounds good, but is that truly a thing ? No. We will do what we have done all season. We can’t fix in three weeks what we couldn’t fix in three years (GW). We will have to run for 175 to win, less if we cause turnovers and have short fields. As I’ve said above..I think Greg’s biggest strength is game planning..and giving him 3 weeks to game plan for Miami is huge. I do hope we come out strong.
I think Greg’s weakness is adjusting when the other team adjusts from the norm…so we’ll see how it plays out.
RU and Greg are plenty capable of winning easily..especially with lots of hurricanes opting out
Those were the days when Miami May have already been testing NIL.Kbee you are right on... Per the APP in 2002- "a one-win Rutgers team was leading the defending national champions and top-ranked team in the nation, 17-14, with 14 minutes remaining in what could have been the unlikeliest college football upset of all-time." "Of the 22 offensive and defensive starters for Miami in that game, 19 played in the NFL and 17 became NFL Draft picks, including 10 first-rounders."
At the end of the 1st half, a 100 yard pick 6 by Rutgers Nate Jones off Ken Dorsey was nullified by a phantom pass interference call. Miami scored on the next play...
Our dynamic Schiano offense can’t score more than 17 against .500 or better teams. Doubt he can do it against a depleted bowl team, so it will be a close game. Plus, Miami returns punts.
24-17 Canes.
24-7 over Northwestern who finished the season 8-5.
Ian Strong 11 yard TD pass from Gavin Wimsatt 7-0
Gavin Wimsatt 6 yard TD run 14-0
Jai Patel 32 yard FG 17-0
Kyle Monangai 15 yard TD run 24-0

Here’s about 80 reasons.I'll play....how is he the big reason we rushed for 2k this season.

I was at that game too. That call on the pick six was awful. That's the kind of call that champions always seem to get.I was at that game.
Heartbreaking. Unfortunately all too common for long-time Rutgers fans.
It was a phantom call on Jones pick six. I was with some friends who weren't Rutgers fans, but they all agreed that it was a bogus penalty call. And we had end zone seats that gave us a great view of the play...right in front of us.
Testing? Those were the days when Miami May have already been testing NIL.
95 is never rightAgain, certainly hope you’re right.
I was at TouchDown Club meeting the week after that game. Coach was talking about fans in the stands calling their friends about a possible upset. Schiano pointed down to the field and said we fell short but it was the beginning of something special that was happening at Rutgers. It was a very inspiring at the time.calliKbee you are right on... Been a long time, and one other thing about that play has had me confused ever since it happenedI just watched parts of this game. There's not even a good camera angle of any part of the play so it's impossible to see what happened. From the actual interception and everybody's positioning I don't see how a holding call could have been made unless it was very early in the play.
Their linemen and linebackers are pretty large, and they will be defending the run game. GW will have to put the ball in the air to win.well we know about the 'experts' lol
but my view is simply that we should be able to run on them effectively and they should not be able to run on us. If we don't beat them by 14, it's an issue with the top. Gav really shouldn't hurt us in this game. I watched most of Miami's games the past few days, I feel pretty good
Miami has lost a lot of depth plus starting qb. the depleted secondary is huge for us
Guess that game be voided and because he was an interim HC his COY award be rescinded because interim HCs aren't any good.Doesn't count because it was an interim coach. The fact that he was B1G COY is irrelevant.

Dear GodTheir linemen and linebackers are pretty large, and they will be defending the run game. GW will have to put the ball in the air to win.
Greasing the poles was an idiotic thing. Miami saw that during pregame warm-ups and used it as bulletin board material.I thought we had a solid chance in 94
Rain, sellout crowd, goal posts greased so students couldn't tear them down
We lost 24-3 but had some chances IIRC
From RU’s perspective. Is it just Max? Is J Jackson playing?A lot. Including transfers.
You can only take advantage of a depleted secondary if you throw the ball.well we know about the 'experts' lol

That team was stacked, as were most Miami teams during that time frameGreasing the poles was an idiotic thing. Miami saw that during pregame warm-ups and used it as bulletin board material.
The holding call on Pierce reminded me of the Jones pick-six.I was at that game too. That call on the pick six was awful. That's the kind of call that champions always seem to get.

There have been 1 or 2 times he was correct and I will either let him know I was wrong or just say I agree with him...
But when he wants to throw out "facts" I am going to check and I am going to call his *** out- he will come back with something stupid now- but there are times that one must just say- I was wrong and your are correct.
And those that never have the ability to do that - and then double down- game on...
