Best games next week are in this bracket

#3 E Heritage (10-2) @ #2 ME Pinecrest (10-2)

#4 E Sanderson (9-3) @ #1 ME Middle Creek (12-0)

#3 ME Richmond County (9-3) @ #2 E Garner (11-1)

I think the best games next week are in this bracket. Playing on the road is tough even during regular season, Richmond will have more than a plate full on the road with Garner Magnet school. Pinecrest has an equally strong Heritage team making that 70 mile trip down U.S. # 1. Look for these games to go either way, it will be tough to call them

I have to beg to differ and I'm a Raider. The West bracket is crucial. However, Richmond are road warriors and expect a crowd. Richmond is good at stopping the run. The better be ready.

Pinecrest I believe can pull out in a squeaker. The key is discipline.
Now the Sanderson game interest me. Middle Creek is good, heck they are a bigger Richmond (don't think faster). However, Sanderson defense is FOR REAL. They have a core of LB that hunt. They live off there D. I still the Middle Creek wins bc eventually they will tired out Sanderson's D.

I get plenty of ridicule for being a Middle Creek fan, but I watched Sanderson play one game this year against Millbrook and their defense was impressive. Their scheme uses their down lineman to disrupt blocking more than attack and they let their LBs and their FS attack. They really flew to the ball. Don't know any names but #29 was a hitter and seemed to be in on about every lick.

Their offense was better at running than passing.

I think that Middle Creek has trouble lining up and pushing people around to run, but that their QB makes lots of good throws and they have a bunch of guys that can catch. Their defense is very fast.

I bet a close game, low scoring.

I think my original post was pretty much on point. I felt like after watching both Pinecrest and Richmond play and watch countless films on both teams lead me to my prediction. Look for the final to be Wake Forrest and Garner. Heritage is strong but I don't think they are strong enough to beat W/F. Garner is going to be hard to stop. They have a great run game and are going to be hard to slow down.

Don't wannastep on any toes but I wouldn't be surprised to see an overall Greensbpro thing this year... I see Dudley in single A... and Page only gets better at this time...and certainly they haven't forgotten last year. It just does something to a team.

Ben you could have a very valid prediction. Greensboro area has always produced some powerhouse football teams. Although our radio group is finished for the year I will still be looking at film for up coming games. It's gonna be a good fast ride from here on out

my money would be on Middle Creek to win the East. They are the best I have seen this year.
