Those tall guards of Texas Tech will be in the face of our short guards. They will play zone, pressure the guards tight. Can't shoot over them. Double team of Culver down in the box. Will need to keep TO's low. Score as quick as possible.

Some garbage calls. Haley gets forearm hooked on a drive and they call a travel on him rather than the foul. Then on a defensive rebound attempt, our guy gets mauled over the back with no call and a TTU second chance 3 pointer.
Guys, @WVpride304 told us Emmitt Matthews was a good one. Right before he told us he sucked. Which was right before he was good again. I can’t wait to check back tomorrow to see what kind of player he is.

There's the Mountaineers we've seen too often. 16 point lead with 8 min to go and now down 1 after 6 minutes. Even our best teams of the last few years have had trouble holding onto big leads and too frequently go on prolonged scoring droughts. Still better performance than I expected.
Loving this. Great bench play the last couple of games as well as the starting five. I didn't give us any chance tonight. Smack me in the head.

Now I'm definitely impressed. The more veteran back court of TTU made me feel that despite the half time lead, TTU had the advantage. When we went down by 1 with under 2 minutes to go, I figured my pessimism was going to be proven right. However, the young guys held it together and got the lead back. Then ice cold veins going 4-4 on FT to preserve that lead. Hell of a win and looks good four next year as long as they keep this team mentality and stay hungry.
That 6 minute run from 8 min mark to 2 min mark was that team. It was the team from 1.48 until the gun that has been rare this season. That last FG where McCabe was trapped, but stayed calm and did not force anything. West recognizing the situation and moving to a passing outlet spot. Then West had the chance to take a shot against one defender, but Haley made the great read while West recognized it. Great guard play and great poise by the freshman point guard.
Told us Huggins was past his prime should retire or be fired.

Tonight was a true honor and privilege to watch tonight. They fought so hard, pulled an early lead, was challenged by a comeback, fell behind, never got scared, fought back, took the lead AGAIN, and then won the game.
We're so fortunate to get to see another game from this team. Win or lose.......Proud of them Eeeeeers!
