Pisgah losing was not the surprise but I didn’t think Brevard would dominate us. We are missing several key starters but Brevard looked better than us in every single facet of the game. Absolutely manhandled.
Brevard is solid and should really roll through their conference and deep in the playoffs.
I think this game will age better and prove Brevard to be a special team and us to be a decent team, that just didn’t have our crap together, but tonight we got took behind the woodshed and whooped!!

Whooped is putting it mildly. It might be a tough year for Haywood county football because the other side of the county looked as bad as we did. Yikes!
I have to go with Rolesville beating Butler 64-14. Never saw that one coming
Mountain Heritage 54 to 0 at Chase. I expected us to win, but not by that big a score.
I remember when Luke a former Pisgah player was announced as coach at Brevard and some Pisgah fans were saying they had never heard of him.They have heard of him now ..As for my Bears they will get better. I cannot remember when both Hayood county teams never scored one point on the same Friday.
Tough night for ?Haywood County football. I can't remember a time both schools got blanked badly on the same night.
Was the Tuscola score not 42-6 that’s what I saw on Maxpreps?
Coleman has taken what Pritchett began building and just continued to improve on it every year. More Brevard athletes are buying in and they’ve always had the athletes. They beat Pisgah at least 9 out 10 this year and we may need help from them to beat them. They are simply bigger, faster, and stronger and just as well, or better, coached than we are. I’d say they are at least 2 scores better than us every night. That will not be the case with the majority of teams we face so that alone will make things appear better as the season moves along.

Brevard has a 7v7 and flag football youth program that I've seen at various events throughout the last 4 years. Brevard has alot of ATHLETES. They are not your typical mountain team
The score I saw was 42-0. My mistake if not, but that's still surprising imo.
Franklin beating Murphy 33-13 was a surprise to this Franklin fan. You are always hopeful for a win going into any game but I didn't expect the dominant nature of this one.
Hayesville didn't. I hauled Asheville Blues there. It was a beat down.
30 plus yard td pass on the last play of the game against the backups....they were excited
Was 21-7 at half. Easily could’ve been 21 all. Hayesville recovered onside kickoff to start second half. Too many mistakes by the Jackets. No scrimmage game hurt them. Blues had next level speed and more athleticism. Hayesville was the tougher team though.
We should. I think this past Friday night is going to prove to say as much, or more, about Brevard than it is us. I don’t see just any team in the mountains pushing us around like Brevard did and having a speed advantage, also.
