The double standard that is being used between OM and State is ridiculous. Brewer said on head to head today that the two hottest teams in the SEC were TAMU and OM. First of all, why not Bama, Georgia, or LSU?
Next, I am sick of this double standard that is being used to pump up OM. They have beaten two of the three worst teams in the SEC in the past two weeks. I agree that they are improved, but "hottest team in the SEC"? Yet, we beat Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee, without having to kick a game winning field goal at the buzzer, and all that is said is we haven't played anyone. Tennessee is by far the best win between State and OM, yet, everyone loves OM because of why? The are better? They don't quit? They play hard?
Not debating if OM is better in this post. Just debating the media double standard that is being used, and I do realize that Billy Brewer is a homer, but I also feel as though the rest of the media kinda feels the same way he does.
I guess when we beat TAMU this weekend, there will be some other excuse as to why we still aren't any good and why it isn't a good win.
