The double standard that is being used between OM and State is ridiculous. Brewer said on head to head today that the two hottest teams in the SEC were TAMU and OM. First of all, why not Bama, Georgia, or LSU?

Next, I am sick of this double standard that is being used to pump up OM. They have beaten two of the three worst teams in the SEC in the past two weeks. I agree that they are improved, but "hottest team in the SEC"? Yet, we beat Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee, without having to kick a game winning field goal at the buzzer, and all that is said is we haven't played anyone. Tennessee is by far the best win between State and OM, yet, everyone loves OM because of why? The are better? They don't quit? They play hard?

Not debating if OM is better in this post. Just debating the media double standard that is being used, and I do realize that Billy Brewer is a homer, but I also feel as though the rest of the media kinda feels the same way he does.

I guess when we beat TAMU this weekend, there will be some other excuse as to why we still aren't any good and why it isn't a good win.

I wish we could just focus on State and winning.

Realize this is hard to do with a heated in-state rival present, but if we'd just win, then all of that other crap would take care of itself. I believe we are on our way if Dan will stay a little while.

The Bears are the most improved team in the SEC ... they're almost infinitely better than they were last year. But they're not the hottest by any means ... that prize would go to Alabama, even if it is expected. You can't get much hotter than 8-0 with blowouts. A&M is doing pretty good in their first year, but not sure I'd call them "hot". For that matter, we were the hottest, or tied, up until last Saturday night.

Bird Dawg was actually very complimentary of State all season up until today. He has picked us to win every game we won. He has every right to be excited about OM doing as well as they have. No I don't agree with his if OM beats UGA they will win out. I think Georgia will be a lot more brutal on their offense than Bama was. I think Bama overlooked them and that gives them a false sense of competing. UGA will beat that *** hard then they get to get it from LSU the next week. By the time we roll into town they won't have much left.

Wow, Billy Brewer showed bias toward OM? I'm shocked! Why in the hell do you guys let this stuff get under your skin?

Not only that but a quick perusal (so far) of the predictions by various sportswriters, the majority are picking the Aggies to win the game but not beating the spread. I'm wondering if they are assuming that State has a hangover from last week.
