Ha ha ha right...Ole Miss never lost a party, right? Not so funny now is it.

It is perfectly legal to throw some huge party with a decent music act on a big recruiting weekend where recruits can hang out and have some fun. That's what Ole Miss did. It is what we did not do. Ole Miss won the party. There, I said it.

But they haven't won Chris Jones even though he was there. I would have been there too. Quiet night or party big on a college campus? Are you kidding?

We need to do a LOT better job entertaining people. I think MSU the school doesn't get involved in any of that. I suppose they could with the amphitheater. But I think what we really need is some big thing in the Cotton District.

We need our cigar boys to throw down a big shin dig in the Cotton District. Word would get out amongst students about what's happening and who will be there. It would be easy. Just need some money guys willing to kick start this thing.

Not a bad idea...and yes sometimes little things do make a difference....

we really need to focus on continuing to improve the cotton district but it takes investments to make it happen. I think Starkville is great but we really need to take advantage of our downtown area. We need to make it more appealing to college students, more bars, restaurants etc....This also takes money which can be generated if more jobs and people move into the Starkville area. But until we do something about the county schools in the area, this will never happen. This may be the perfect place for Charter Schools if the bill passes..I didn't mean to go on a rant, but I see so much potential.

This is the problem with believing everything you read here, especially when repeating MicroPenis34. He has no more of an idea of what is happening at MSU or OM than the average fan with an internet connection. Yet posters like you are wrong because you continue to repeat his drivel from today, when all he is doing is rationalizing the fact that he was wrong about it yesterday. It's a vicious circle.

Some of you have made Coach34 out to be an insider and Engie to be a recruiting expert lately, no matter how wrong they have been.

You can thank certain posters and message board owners for stoking DeVinner's fire over Redmond's recruitment, and getting the NCAA snooping around our program. People need to learn when to shut up. Our hands are tied until the NCAA is done with things. I have a feeling that was OM's plan all along.

Our hands are not tied in throwing a huge party that recruits are allowed to stroll into. That is perfectly NCAA-legal.
