Bottom Line: We are not very good...

I think the TN game gave many us false hope, including myself, but as it turns out TN is terrible. We are slightly better than what I thought when I predicted 6-6, but not much. If we were to play Ole Miss today we would lose. A couple of things I noticed today was our receivers did not come back to Russell to help him out when he was flushed and Boyd got pushed around all day long. Also, we are slow on defense and slow to react. We gave up 693 yards, give me a 17ing break. At least they have gambling in Bossier City/Shreveport....

I disagree.

I think what we've found out is that we are squarely in the middle of the SEC. We can beat bad teams and we can't beat good teams. I think 2010 gave a bunch of people a false sense of where we were as a program and starting 7-0 against not one good team this year gave us the same false sense. We are still about 7-8 players short on our current team of being able to compete against the better teams and realistically we are a 7-8 win team talent-wise right now.

I think we are about 2 OL, 3 DL, an LB, and a WR or 2 away from being a legit team. We are getting hammered in the trenches, as was seen today almost every time Russell stepped back to throw and on just about every play TAMU ran. Until Dan gets the talent in here, and by talent I mean 6-8 four and five stars each year, this will continue to happen.

I agree with you to a certain extent...

but I don't consider A&M an upper tier SEC team, they would have three loses if it weren't for Freeze's 4th down call. But I agree that we are a 6-7 win team when we schedule the way we have the last two years and play UK.

Agree. We are not very good. If we are squarely in the middle of the conference, then the SEC is down this year.
