Well, this just sucks! The first of many more to come unfortunately. Let the **** show begin, again.
Freedom was set to play Crest this Friday, that would be a good one.
That would be a great pickup! It's a win for both teams. Would be a huge gate versus no gate. Would also give us the chance to face top-notch competition right away in 3A that we probably wouldn't get to see until playoff time again.
West Henderson was scheduled to play East Rutherford so they are available as well.
I was told Transylvania County almost didn't open schools yesterday because of not enough faculty due to them being quarantined. The middle school football team is also paused at Brevard for the time being.
School board voted to keep masks optional last night, I'm guessing there will be more forfeits/cancellations to come unfortunately. I hate masks as much as the next person but I don't remember Brevard having to cancel games for any sport last school year due to COVID.

I hate it for you guys ,been many years since Pisgah and Brevard has not played.According to a post on 3A board Bears will be going to Crest Friday.
West Henderson or Pisgah could play Crest. If Crest’s field isn’t ready Burns is away. They could play at RGS. Just throwing that out there.
Prayers out to the Canton and Bethel communities after all the flooding! The pictures of the businesses/homes and football field were very similar to those here in Rosman/Toxaway part of the county.
No damage to BHS or RHS football field. RHS has substantial damage to their practice field and their baseball field.
