That this would indeed suck. As to the truth of it, I've got nothing.Would suck to lose this guy after such a short period of time.

You guys act like this is a big shocker. We all knew he was a short timer.
We can't keep a good assistant for ****. We will never be good until we do this.
We need more people in the Bulldog Club donating so we can get assistant salaries higher....we lag severely there...we still dont have 10K members in the Bulldog Club- thats pathetic

I agree, but I thought you weren't a member. Did that change?

one of the jobs of an Athletic Director is to raise money. He needs to be addressing the problem, not using it as an excuse.

I don't think it has anything to do exclusively with doctors and lawyers. State has some very wealthy alumni but they are more likely to donate money for a new chemical engineering building than for the football program. Football at State is simply not that important to as many alumni as it is at OM.
My source told me FSU wrote him 1,983 hand-written letters in two weeks and paid him 24K just to visit.
According to Paul, Brewster will either get the same money or less if he goes to FSU.
Then I don't understand why he would go unless there is some sort of personal relationship there pulling him. FSU is FSU so the school is more notable but its still a step down in conference when it comes to football.
