I have never said Briles committed a criminal act, my prior post used it as an analogy. It isn't that I dislike Briles, he may be a decent guy and he can clearly coach. My issue is he gambled on some players and it ended up biting him in the butt, not to mention the tragic consequences some young ladies suffered. It is also clear that he and/or his assistants were not proactive enough in handling some very serious situations. He has shown terrible judgment in several ways in this mess and now many on here want to repeat the gamble he took but this time with him. It's the same gamble. "I know X is really good and has a questionable past, but he can help us win. I think we can keep him under control here". The liability isn't worth the risk. Briles should have reached that conclusion with several of his players, Sam in particular. Almost every school WILL reach that conclusion with him. I can't respond about Jones as I haven't looked into it at all.
You lost credibility when you state you can't respond about Jones because you haven't looked into it yet you're from Georgia and Tennessee is sandwiched in between us. You know more about Baylor than UT doesn't hold water, or in court
