• at some really key times. start of 2nd half...in both lead to TD's. Gause just misses grabbing Cook in backfield on long 3rd down conversion because he is blatantly grabbed going for Cook right in front of the ref.
• That was clearly a grounding on Cook. Don't care that #3 was 10 yards away.
• TD pass..looks like the Wide-out pushed off on Hunt right before making the catch going into the end zone.

Going 3 and out with a penalty, followed by GL throwing two passes away and giving MSU the ball right back at the 50 for the 2nd TD was a killer.

I knew those MSU wideouts were making unbelievable catches but I didn't realize how many and how tough they were. man!

GL's footwork is really pretty bad and throwing everything falling backwards. No wonder he isn't getting the zip on the ball. Don't know how he is completing 70% but he must throw a nice soft ball.

Man we could have taken this game.

A lot of non calls for both teams. If you go to the MSU board they talk about the RU Oline holding on every play. I saw a lot of penalties on both teams and very few flags. I think it evened out.

The refs just didn't bother calling holding at all during the game - and some were amazingly blatant, and right in their faces.

It's pretty clear that the Big has some great running backs aided by very few OL holding calls leads to some impressive rushing stats. Really saw this last year as well, so might as well get use to it. What makes it difficult is the occasional arbitrary offensive holding calls that appear out of nowhere. There's a good reason so many DL linemen seemed to anchored in cement when the back goes through the hole.

After that TD, I told my wife "don't worry ... it's coming back for offensive pass interference". I was stunned there was no flag.

And, don't even get me started on those intentional grounding non-calls. Mind boggling.

Unfortunately for Arch that is where they ended up AFTER the dude was on his way to his back. I think it was more Arch's reaction to the realization they were both going down and he was bracing himself. Like I said though we still scored a TD but compared to some of the no calls that one was a stretch.

yeah that's the guy. my bad...LOL

Holding. Yeah I get holding not easily called when bunched up on the line but a guy grabs&pulls on Gause open field in front of ref in pursuit of Cook, that one is right there and needs to be called.

Shift. Go watch the replay if you haven't and look at Chris' footwork. I didn't kill the guy, I just pointed out something others have been talking about. Even on that last TD pass to Carroo he did it and Carroo again had to pull up a bit to make the catch. Maybe it is the pressure causing it because when he steps into the throw it is fine. Just an observation. Some the other GARY used to do as well that Fridge helped fix.
