Bunker hill have much of a passing game? Brevard pretty stout against the run but can be had by good passing team
Passing game is suspect. Their running game can be deadly if not prepared for Willis. He's a very slippery runner that's hard to bring down.
Bunker Hill is one of those gritty teams there kids play hard and never quit as evidence by the number of times they have had to comeback including the NC game which I watched!! Don't count the Hill out they play hard and are well coached!! Benjamin Kissinger is a good QB and they are tough Defensively for Brevard should be a great game!!!
Brevard is tough though!! They will use 2 QB's and they spread things out too!! Defensively Zion Brown is a beast at DE and the Thompson kid at RB is tough!!!
Not sure how you can say that. Several state qualified track athletes on the football team. If I'm not mistaken 3 of the 4 4Ă—400 relay team from last year are on the team and I think the Willis kids made states in 200 and 100 hurdles.

The Blue Devil mascot is most likely the kryptonite for BH this year. As much as I want CVAC teams to move on, Brevard's defense might be too stout in this one.
I imagine this will be a close game. I believe Brevard pulls away in the third and wins by two scores...but if it's tied going into the 4th quarter (or within one score) then BH will make it very interesting, not only are they tough at home...but if they are close they catch a second and third wind and always find a way to win.

Yes, I would argue that Brevard travels well and will bring a good crowd. I would also say that Pisgah, Tuscola, Reynolds, Franklin all travel pretty well of the larger mountain schools. I may be missing a few others.Mountain teams don't seem to travel to well.

I remember in the 80s and 90s no matter where Brevard went and played they always brought a crowd!! Alot of pride in that community and they were a Football powerhouse back in the 80s with Robinson I believe who was there coach!! I believe he won a State Title there in 1982?? Not sure but I believe that's right?
Correct. What hurt Brevard was all the big plants leaving lost three of them. They’ll bring some fans but not like they use to. Remember when I was a kid they would rent buses to haul fans to games
Bunker Hill brought the entire Community to Reidsville Black Friday from a year ago.
Their is youtube videos of the 1982 Brevard season when they won the 3A State Title. Every game of 1982 Brevard played in. The intro i thought was cool with the video song Eye of the Tiger.

I remember my sophomore year they beat us at Reynolds 20-7. It was the first game and it was packed on the visiting side of our stadium with Brevard fans!! They were all the way down the fence towards the track!! Brevard was always good well coached!! Remember playing against Don Don Desuaters in 1996 there great game last one in the series
The community really got behind that team and this one after years of perennial losing. Unfortunately after this season the it looks like back to the future. They gonna be back in with the basement dweller's
Lol. U said the same thing last year. We will lose a lot this year, but should at least stay competitive moving forward.
That's just wishful thinking on your part. Coach Reid and his staff have the boys and community sold on getting it done. BH football is probably here to stay for awhile.
