Added facts are that our QB is done and our best defensive player is done, we are actually the underdog in this one.
Plus we get more penalties than two teams put together most games.
You can thank the SWC for allowing this game to happen. They allowed us and East Gaston to exchange bye weeks. Otherwise we would be fighting for our playoff lives this week at RS instead of next.

The QB looked great last week having to play varsity. He’s definitely the future. The rbs tonight were the backups before Norris got the call up to Varsity. Good to see a few years of very talented kids coming up. Hate to hear about the Crest QB. I thought it looked out of sync as far as strategy so that makes more sense to the limited play calls. That’s hard on a team.
But you guys always rise to the occasion -- especially against a county rival. I doubt that many people thought that Shelby-KM would be that close.
Looks like Crest will have to fudge the daily attendance numbers like Shelby so we can slip into 2A.
Even when Ruff ran the show last year we knew this year would be even tougher. Crest defense is good and the offense is a missed tackle away from 6 points. Going to be a battle.
Come on down and play conference games with power house teams like Cherryville and highland tech.

This will really be the first test for Crest this year. Burns has been battled tested. It should be a good one. But being at Crest gives the Chargers an edge. I'll go Crest by 8
