Not gonna lie I feel like king mountain is playing down to competition because this not the same kings mountain I saw against Shelby…. But hopefully havelock gets to play against km would be a nice game Dudley can match km size for size tho I’m watching them vs hillside

I think Burns missed a chance to score twice if the quarterback didn’t over throw the WR both times.
Burns is a really good team. They will give a lot of teams the business. Believe that.
Shelby is just not the same this year in the trenches that’s why they lost. Hillside is huge, good and senior led this year so that’s good if they even matching up with them. Hillside also has a chance to come out the East in 4A this year so that’s a good test.
It’s hard to be accurate with people in your face.
That’s true but outside of KM defensive line, nothing else really looks great. They have a good QB but the WRs and DBs are decent imho. I still think they go undefeated in the regular season if they pull this game out like I expect.
I’m not impressed fr lol burns defense is pretty good but their offense is no good they have a good running back but offensive line is not good they will lose to any team that has a good defense with a balance offense which is Shelby not saying they won’t win games but I don’t see them beating Shelby in the playoffs at all even with Shelby down this year
I’m not, Hillside is legit this year. Hillside would beat any team in 3A so this won’t be a bad loss if they lose.
New Hanover looks like their about to beat butler and New Bern beat the dog

You must not know much about either teams if you didn’t think Hillside wouldn’t give them a test. This should be Hillsides best year out of the last 4-5 years. Also, I’ve seen Dudley scrimmage mount tabor and Chambers and if they play to their capability, they could run it back. First 3 games against 4A teams also. So it’s no telling how things play out in Nov-Dec.
Dudley will still be good hillside has athletes but don’t let this fool you lol Dudley still has a lot of size and athletes on both side of the ball they will be a problem in the west come playoff time no matter how many losses they have

I watched it online.... What an impressive defensive performance... 9 and 15 lived in the burns backfield..
I was impressed with number 3 from burns though, he is solid.
Congrats to the Mounties. That's a fantastic bunch y'all have. Quite simply Burns couldn't block KMs defensive line. That was a beat down.
