Mainly I just wish we would’ve kicked the FG to get within one score - 17-10. We still probably lose but gifting them the touchdown really killed us in the game.
Lesser Talented teams:Can't get inside the 30 3 times and come away with 0 points. Failing on Third and fourth and short several times were also a killers. Hopefully against lesser talented teams those become points and 1st downs extending drives.
Your avatar is very fitting for your mindset.Offense is still completely broken against teams with a pulse. Will get destroyed by PSU, OSU, Wisconsin, and Iowa per usual.
Also shows just how bad the ACC is, we’ve beat our ACC opponent every year the past 3 seasons.

Outside of 2014 and 2020 we rarely, if ever can score more than 7-17 points against these programs. Sometimes the score differential is massive, sometimes it is closer. But we just cannot score points. Once the 3 and outs start to build the score differential more often than not balloons.Your avatar is very fitting for your mindset.
Well, they could have kicked a field goal but then fans would have said it Schiano ball for trying to keep the score close but not going for the win. Can't get inside the 30 3 times and come away with 0 points. Frankly I think we should have kicked two field goals. Going up 10-7 would have been positive and then the other 3 could have made it 17-13. I realize this is after the fact but I do think we were planning like we shouldn’t have been there when we should.
Not sure what you are getting at here, we lost 27-10 and were down 27-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Once again, could not score more than 7-17 points against these programs. I don’t care about yards gained or anything, I care about points on the board.Wrong as usual.
I guess you didn’t watch last year’s Iowa game.
Yes. And against most other teams in the country going for it would be the right call because not too many teams are going to completely shut down our run game that way. Most games we’ll be able to grind out a yard or 2.Well, they could have kicked a field goal but then fans would have said it Schiano ball for trying to keep the score close but not going for the win.

because some RU fans look for moral victories when it's points that matterNot sure what you are getting at here, we lost 27-10 and were down 27-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter. I’m really not sure what to make of this team yet. Michigan is a top ten team. I thought RU was going to perform a little better but oh well.
The games I’m interested in to see where this team is at are MSU, Iowa and Indiana. Wisconsin is Wisconsin. Maryland seems ahead of RU at this point. Ohio St and Penn St are better than Michigan IMO. We’ll see.
I wouldnt say they moved at will UM had just over 400yds. QB play was a wash they both had similar statsThe reality is that we only played 1 competitive qtr of football.
The other 3 qtrs Michigan moved the ball at will and with ease. And our offense didn’t have a first down much of that time.
The reality is we have to at least be competitive in these games to start tilting perception. We were not. And we remain where we were with very little progress shown in my eyes.
Game was ok.
No way Michigan is a legit #2 but it was a good team.
Wimsatt looked ok.
Passes could use a bit more mustard and the mesh delay doesn't work
RU moved up from awful to okish
I think this is right on.Lesser Talented teams:
Me in @rutgersal mode-Penciled in Wins:
Indiana-sucks this year
MSU- Dumpster Fire
Iowa-we can do this
Wisconsin- Mellusi out for season
Maryland- Huge Maybe:
Me in Realistic Mode:
There are 2, maybe 3 wins in that group of 5 above. That puts RU as 6 or 7 wins. Up that to 4 wins, and it's a fantastic season.
Any thoughts on Maryland? Good first game against B1G competition. Did MSU suck, or is Maryland rolling?I think this is right on.
Until the season started, I thought your team would win maybe three games. Now I am convinced that they are going to play in a bowl game...
MSU didn't suck. In fact, they had more yards from scrimmage than Maryland. The Spartans will win some conference games this season. I saw them referred to as a dumpster fire, but they don't look like that to me.Any thoughts on Maryland? Good first game against B1G competition. Did MSU suck, or is Maryland rolling?
I'm neutral on Locksley. He seems like a good guy, but it seems (could be wrong here) his teams can be undisciplined with penalties. Would love the RU Maryland games to return to being more competitive.MSU didn't suck. In fact, they had more yards from scrimmage than Maryland. Tagovialoa didn't have a good game, and Hemby hardly gained any yards at all, but the Terps won easily. I think they are growing into a deeper, more solid program, and, although I won't try to convince anybody here, Locksley is a good coach. So I would say they are rolling.
The schedule works out well. The automatic blowout losses are staggered this year, and I think that helps keep morale up, ha ha...
I'm 100% sure that your wish will be granted in a few weeks. That is going to be tough game to win for either team...Would love the RU Maryland games to return to being more competitive.
