It only cost us two spots? Jeez, for all the wailing and gnashing of teeth around here, you think it would’ve dropped us 20 spots. Of course, wailing and gnashing of teeth is what the board is all about.
As I said elsewhere, it likely only cost us one spot. UCSB won and moved from 18 to 15. Probably would've passed us anyway.
I did notice that 8 of 13 games involving Top 25 teams per Warren Nolan were cancelled last night. Many in the Carolinas, so they had weather reasons.
Coulda moved us all the way to 20. And definitely lost us point rpi wise. Wasn’t a huge hit but why schedule a game that only hurt our resume.
right now it looks fine. If next week those lost points have us at 21 instead of 18, and the margin between that bunch of teams is really that small… Might feel differently.
