2008:
Played in four games during his redshirt freshman season until having that campaign curtailed by a knee injury . . . After not seeing action in the season opener, played in four straight games (Weeks 2-5) . . . Rushed 18 times for 61 yards, a 3.4-yard per carry average, and one touchdown . . . Also had four pass receptions for 53 yards, a 13.2-yard average . . . Saw his first action from the line of scrimmage in Mississippi State’s home-opening win over Southeastern Louisiana . . . I wouldn't call 7 yards on 5 carries against Southeastern Louisiana Norwood esque. Even before the knee injury he didn't have the speed Norwood did.
