Bye Week Haiku Thread

[Knight Shift]

Bye week-a respite
From the weekly misery
Is it Bye Bye, Greg?

[SHUSource]

Send carboard boxes
To the Hale Center for Greg
He'll need them soon, right?

[MrsScrew]

No sadness this week
We can find another team
to bring us some joy

[AnonAmoose26]

I will still tailgate.
Be in the Black Lot by noon!
Drink the pain away.

[Doctor Worm]

We are one and four
Our quest is now nine and four
Impossible dream.

[DJ Spanky]

Needed a respite
From four tailgates in five weeks
Does get exhausting.

Now have four weeks off
Come back rejuvenated
For Halloween game.

[Knight Shift]

We are one and four
Our quest is now nine and four
Impossible dream.

Not impossible
Hard part of schedule is done
The rest are cupcakes

[MrsScrew]

we are moving soon
finding new team to root for
the Fighting Camels

[MrsScrew]

Not impossible
Hard part of schedule is done
The rest are cupcakes

[Knight Shift]

we are moving soon

the Fighting Camels

Just up I-Forty
You have Fighting Belichicks
Greg may be DC!

[MrsScrew]

Just up I-Forty
You have Fighting Belichicks
Greg may be DC!

thirty minutes more
but willing to try it out
new team interviews

[iReC89]

Need a team? shop local.
Catch a Friday nights lights game.
Good vibe. Cheap food. fun.

[NewJerseyGuy]

Tick tock; Greg’s still here.

Will it end? When will it stop?

All forest … no Chop.

[RUforester72]

Glad its a bye week
No suffering Saturday!
Ducks will stomp Bruins.

[RAC93]

Is Greg still here?
I smelled rotting food in the fridge
Or was it Greg is still here?

[DJ Spanky]

Got the weekend off!
No tailgate prep is needed
Can catch up on sleep.

[Knight Shift]

On X last two days
Hitting refresh every
Hour-looks like he stays

[Doctor Worm]

Is Greg still here?
I smelled rotting food in the fridge
Or was it Greg is still here?

Four-eight-seven? Bah!
Violates all Haiku rules
And makes little sense

[DJ Spanky]

On X last two days
Hitting refresh every
Hour-looks like he stays

Needs an extension
And don't forget the fieldhouse
rutgersal was right.

[AnonAmoose26]

Glengarry Glen Ross
Alec Baldwin's scene sums up
Rutgers NIL:

These are the new leads.
These are the Glengarry leads
To you, they are gold

But you don't get them.
To give them to you is just
Throwing them away.

[SHUSource]

Doctor Worm is the
Haiku police, making sure
The rules are followed

I'm ashamed to say
I've been flagged; too generous
With my syllables

Ah, but rules are rules
Without them we are lawless
And haiku is bad

[DJ Spanky]

Ah, but rules are rules
Without them we are lawless
And haiku is bad

Follow haiku rules
If not you will pay the price
And no mercy shown

Nobody expects
The Haiku Inquisition
So send in the nuns!

[LeapinLou]

UMD: Going
Northwestern: Going there too
I must be crazy

[SHUSource]

Follow haiku rules
If not you will pay the price
And no mercy shown

Nobody expects
The Haiku Inquisition
So send in the nuns!

[SHUSource]

UMD: Going
Northwestern: Going there too
I must be crazy

"Fan" is a word that
Is short for "fanatic," so
Sense does not apply

[Doctor Worm]

Follow haiku rules
If not you will pay the price
And no mercy shown

Nobody expects
The Haiku Inquisition
So send in the nuns!

Corrective toughlove
Makes one a better poet
I coach 'em up hard

[Knight Shift]

UMD: Going
Northwestern: Going there too
I must be crazy

Woo hoo Leapin Lou
We go to Northwestern too
Make Wildcats boo hoo

[willisneverrana43]

Tailgate for UMass . . .
The ref sounded his whistle—
Crap! Tailgate again.

[NewJerseyGuy]

Should Greg stay or go?

Indecision bugging me

y me molesta

[Knight Shift]

Should Greg stay or go?

Indecision bugging me

y me molesta

As Motley Crüe sang
Greg, don't go away mad, just
Go away--soon please!

Nothing left to do
Please take Joe Nolan with you
And that train horn too

[Haiku575]

Greg made the right choice
With Pizzaro perfection
Kicking coach future

Deal with the lame duck
and still dream of better times
Glass could be half full
