Maybe Caleb yelled “We are your Daddy” and the “We are Penn State” crowd didn’t like it.
Schrewsberry was holding/talking with Caleb for awhile in the handshake.

Cam, Caleb, and Derek immediately went over and jawed with the student section after the buzzer. Micah was probably like you’re senior and a great player, you don’t have to do that.

Yeah, Pike just said he was first in line and well past any of that conversation, so he had no idea and didn't seem interested in talking about if he did know.
We should get caleb to do a cameo for $25 and tell the psu faithful to eaat it..
I know it's wrong but I like they talked smack to the students.

From tv, saw some lady sitting courtside yell at Caleb and cam at end of game. They waved good bye to her. Don’t know if things escalated afterwards with students etc.

Our guys did nothing wrong. They're all students - on and off the court - they can have fun at their (the students) expense as well.
I mean probably, they're PSU people, of course they're dbags.

You just may crap up. Caleb did not apologize but both were calmly discussing what happened when the camera was on them.
I was right there. Psu fans talked shite and several of our players waved by and said see ya. It was tame.
I know people are down on Caleb because of his offense but Caleb Mag and Paul make up the fabric of toughness passed down from prior RU players.
I am 100% on board with the back and forth and glad Cam Spencer is buying into it. This roster needs to play with a swagger and edge.....as this season winds down, Simpson earning his stripes and some talk is fine too.
I don't see Mag as a smack talking guy, but he owns the toughness factor that will be passed down to the next wave of 2023 and 2024 kids. We can't turn into a bunch of jump shooters as we get more talented, there has to be some gritty basketball built into it.

When players start interacting with fans, especially at the end of a tight game, nothing good can happen. You just stole a game from their team after being down 19.

If you put the students practically on the court in our faces saying god knows what while they were kicking our asses, then of course the players are going to relish sticking it to them. Good for them.

Who cares. The crowd was already out of control, they’re up 19 and we still beat them. Swept them this year. If their fans and coach don’t like tell their team to play better

Personally I always said students should not be directly behind the bench.

Sure but this is PSU. They have more dbags per capita than any other school besides maybe Michigan. It's poor judgement by a school that knows controversy so well.

Yep 100% I think Dickinson is a jerk but he gave it to our fans and he has all the right too.

Whatever happened, it was clear from the television coverage that Micah has a lot of respect for Caleb and that Caleb likewise has a lot of respect for Micah. Players like Caleb who are in a conference for 4-5 years often do earn themselves a degree of respect from opposing players and coaches, whether it's to encourage them to keep doing what they're doing or conversely, some variation of WTH was that- you're better than that, if something occurred before/during/right after a game. In the end, all college athletes are essentially kids just entering adulthood that are still developing into the people they will ultimately be in true adulthood.
