I agree. That’s a recipe for ugliness. When we were in the Big East they forbade schools from having students directly behind the opposing team. Good policy.Personally I always said students should not be directly behind the bench.

You would be incorrect. I didn't have a problem, I had a BIG problem with that. Do what you want on the playground but when you're representing our university with a captain's "C" on your jersey on national television I didn't like it at all.Let me guess, you had a problem with RHJ big nuts gesture last year @indiana
Agree also. It’s just common sense to avoid that.I agree. That’s a recipe for ugliness. When we were in the Big East they forbade schools from having students directly behind the opposing team. Good policy.
Let me know where you work. I’ll come heckle you all day. Once you finish work I expect you to walk out without saying a word. You would be incorrect. I guess we'll just have a difference of opinion on these.

They need a book. LOL

100% the PA Penn State folk are much classier than the Jersey ones that are so extra with it when playing Rutgers. Just my anecdotal experience I’m sure there’s plenty of d-bags to go around lol. That’s a given.
Bet it was one of those from NJ as they are the worst of the bunch.
Wait....they behead hecklers in Thailand, don't they ?Mahidol University
Salaya Sub District, Nakon Pathom
Bangkok, Thailand
When can I expect you???
I need to leave your name at the security desk so you can come on campus.
Only a mandatory 10 year jail sentence. The beheadings for heckling are in Singapore.Wait....they behead hecklers in Thailand, don't they ?
Thais are more passive aggressive than hecklers no?Only a mandatory 10 year jail sentence. The beheadings for heckling are in Singapore.
Especially the ladies (?) downtown.Thais are more passive aggressive than hecklers no?
I stayed away from that stuff. Lol. Beautiful country and people imo.Especially the ladies (?) downtown.
You need to visit Vietnam. Lived there for 4 years and liked it much better than BangkokI stayed away from that stuff. Lol. Beautiful country and people imo.
This would explain a lot. Cam went out of his way to say “Goodbye” to the fans, and I figured there had to be a reason he went all out with it.I am trying to find a way to post a screenshot but the vice-pres of one of Penn St's fan groups is saying that:
-A Penn St fan threw a fat head at a member of the Rutgers coaching staff
-That fans allegedly used "explicit, racist, and vulgar language directed at the Rutgers basketball team"
He is condemning it and saying it is unacceptable
I'm trying to find out more

You have to host it to a site and then post.I am trying to find a way to post a screenshot but the vice-pres of one of Penn St's fan groups is saying that:

This is what I was getting at when I was the first one to raise the question in the Riot Squad thread. This would explain a lot. Cam went out of his way to say “Goodbye” to the fans, and I figured there had to be a reason he went all out with it.
Hopefully he leaves after the season (to somewhere out of the conference). He’s way too good for them. Same goes for Pickett.Shrewsburry is all class. Great post-game interview again tonight just like at the RAC. PSU doesn’t deserve him.
Wow that's truly disgusting. What site are you seeing this on?

agree with Colby...these are adults and they should act like it.You would be incorrect. I didn't have a problem, I had a BIG problem with that. Yes, this is his last year. This is Picket’s 5th year so he should be done, no?
Caleb is a student too. If he was chirping the student section, and can back it up, good for him.Why is it wrong? I don’t think it’s wrong.
The good news keeps on coming, unless he pulls the Bohannon SpecialThis is Picket’s 5th year so he should be done, no?
We should expect the psu admin to investigate and to issue an apology to the team if true. We issued an apology for some guy tailgating at a football game with an inappropriate flag, and this is significantly worse.Since I can't find a quick way to post a screenshot here is the exactly what he said:
"Firstly there are lines we do not cross as fans, this includes being physical, hostile, or in any way disprespectful to opposing fans, players, coaches, etc. "Happy Valley Hospitality" isnt just a thing that we say it's an attitude we stay consistent with.
"That being said, there were reports of of a fan throwing a fathead at one of the opposing players/coaches and that is unacceptable, and it's something that can not only get you banned from the BJC but face police charges as well"
"Furthermore, the police have issued a warning to Athletics due to the alleged explicit, racist, and vulgar language directed to members of Rutgers basketball team."
"Things such as f-bombs, n-words, and other slurs being thrown around are downright unacceptable, and the privilege of sitting behind the benches will be revoked if this behavior continues. "
"Athletics is extremely disappointed with the behavior displayed today and so are we. Not only is this a bad look for the Legion of Blue but for our program and university as well"
It's out on Twitter & there's a separate thread on these boards about it too.Wow that's truly disgusting. What site are you seeing this on?
There needs to be some very serious consequences for the above behaviors. To me, nothing short of expelling them is worthy. About 6 of my daughter's friends went there, and I heard some really f'ed up stories. But, hey what would you expect? After all it is PSU!Since I can't find a quick way to post a screenshot here is the exactly what he said:

Exactly. I thought it was a dangerous situation all around. That's one real good idea, but, it will never happen at that POS school. It's not a good idea to have students sit directly behind opposing team's bench
Inexcusable behavior but drunk college kids don't make good decisions
