I’ll be working, I’d have to see the results. So far it’s Culliver. Fastest in the conference in 100 meters. Unless a conference foe shows him up, he’s top of the standings. Him being a senior doesn’t show the combine relevance but I’ll give him credit we’re it’s due. 2nd fastest is a toss up between Fraley of EB and most likely Sifford of Newton
I’ve not known EB to ever have a real good baseball team but I never have kept up with em either

Culliver most not have ran today or did a differ event. West Caldwell boy took the race today in the 100M. Obviously he’s not dangerous in pads. Fraley is, we’ll see. Fraley musta had a bad race cause he beat him last week

I am just glad to see some wins at EB baseball softball has been bad for the last few years!! Love that track is doing good also that school has been down in sports for a while. Ready for some football for sure BFR.
Yeah I thought it was a little early to be committing. Who knows what a good season this coming year could have done to his prospects. Especially if a Coach that could highlight and improve his abilities
Prior to senior year in high school “commitment“ is a pretty fluid term.
True I don't think he would stay at gardner-web if he had an amazing senior season and some power five schools came knocking. Yeah I would hope a school like gardner-web would understand that also
Well the official fastest guy in conference is- Okoro of Newton Conover. Not even sure what position he plays but don’t let that guy in open field with the ball if your defense lol. A milli second from being 11 flat. For around here that’s a killer 100M time. Can’t say Newton don’t have athletes lol the fun thing bout the track “combine” is who has the best overall athletes
73 carries 312 yards so 4 yards a carry. 0 receptions. 2 fumbles both lost. On defense he had 2 tackles 1 solo 1 assisted
Prob dangerous with the football if given a crease and left in open space. Guys like that get behind a nasty Oline it’s gonna be a long night
See above looks like he has speed but maybe not the traits of a running back

Track speed doesn't always translate to football speed either.
True... Track is very minimal attire. Throw cleats and full pads on.. now u got extra weight. And then u also need more than vertical speed u need vision and cut speed also
Now fellas I never said this would be GREAT RBs or WRs or corners. Usually that’s were your track stars are playing. With speed yeah you could be ok behind a great Oline or nasty I should say. Track is basically a sport that shows we’re the athletes are and can be compared to a combine cause in those the guys are in minimal tight clothing also. We’re there is speed there is potential. High jump long jump equals who has the verticals for the in the air catches- or the potential thereof ha ha. Never said track stars also have the hands and cut moves. Those can be worked on and improved.
We just having fun with this guys and prob proving the point that Newton and BH have the athletes or the most overall with EB showing they have a few as well which…for them typically don’t happen. When Hibriten was at their big time best 17’ 18’ and 19’ etc those guys burnt the track up in the spring and done it REAL good sowing who they were under the pads and helmet Prob one of the reasons just for fun that I talk track on this thread.
An honorable mention here, WL got one speedster on the track with a couple more that ain’t bad but their seniors so it don’t relate to the subject matter. But does show why they held their own this past season. Those guys will be on college campuses getting their dorms in order and checking out the gals while the subject matter of players you guys are talking bout will be taking the field

From what I'm seeing West Lincoln's "fastest" player isn't on track that I can see.

Is this guy faster than Lucas Howell that you’re talking bout? Howell is a senior this year and was prob a WR or DB. Not sure I’d have to look him up. Dude ran a 11.1 which up to this point he’s 2nd fastest in CVAC and BARLY lost to N-C’s Okoro. He must not have ran that day against Fraley at EB cause Fraley won that day with an 11.3 I believe .
Michael Sifford for Newton-Conover must have not run. I thought he was the fastest kid on their track team and in the conference.
That player on the football field he's fast. But don't know what his track speed is since he Don't run track. Lucas Howell is a running back / defensive back that was seldom used.

I kinda thought he was too. I just update as I go and apparently he got knocked off the hill after he declared himself king ha ha. I’m not sure what happened he hadn’t ran past 1 or 2 meets. Culliver ran in one Maiden meet, hadn’t seen him on the result board since. Prob too busy prepping for college ball. Sifford and Okoro might be a good teammate race. I hope Culliver and Sifford show up at conf meet. I hope all you guys show up. Maybe have us a ncprep poster cheer section at the meet ha ha. Hey I’m game let’s go lol
Parents prob ain’t on the boosters or coach’s country golf club or he ain’t as up on it in the pads as others that might be but slightly slower moving feet. I knew a guy that was a top dog trackster, ran in college too but wasn’t that effective in pads during the fall. Happens I guess
Culver ran at the last maiden meet. He just didn't run the individual event he ran the 4x100 team race
Hey the blue boys may have them a good 4*100 team this year. Early prediction they might get 3rd. Newton and BH bring the heat in that event and who knows what Bandys has, they usually have one. EB did last year but Fraley is needed for individual events to get points there and Goins graduated last year so there went EBs team. This year they’ll get by with maybe a 5th or 6th with what they got left . I think I built them up too early before the 1st meet happened. They’ll win as a whole cause we are killing it in Shot/Disc, High jump, Pole Vault and Long Junp. They’re gonna have to excel those events cause they don’t have relays not like last year and NO distance runners to score points
He's verbally committed but unsigned until December. since this commitment more offers have came his way but they will not be made public unless he decides to post them. GWU is a great program and they have some really big games over the next few years like GT, James Madison, UNCC, the Citadel, etc. Take sports out of the equation to earn a full ride is a blessing in itself so potentially playing in D1 FCS makes this more special. Trust the lord and the process and the rest will take care of itself.
